I loved Marco... it's one of those movies that feel like a release...such beautiful violence and gore..
For any "bloodhound" like me, this is a must-see.
Ok, there story is not that original - it's a revenge flick - but the sheer amount of blood is over the top.
I love the way the directors are willing to go over the limits, and show violence agaibst women and children as such - don't take me wrong, in real life I hate violence, but in movies, I do think that the violence is a safe and somewhat stress release thing.
I know the director was thinking on releasing an even more violent version, but there was not "permission" to do so, so the rumor is that the sequel will be even more brutal...I can't wait for it to be released.
Bloodhounds everywhere, this is awesome.

The movie has a lot of influence of american cinema...from The Lost Boys, to Twilight or even Blade... to be honest, there's a lot to go around, a lot to handle, but still, there are a lot of very nice scenes, styllish action scenes.
There are some scenes were I felt a bit confused, because the subtitkes were poorly made, and weren't much help.
I think I'm going to try and see it again, with a bit more attention, so that the loose ends here and there, tie up... The combat is filmed in a styllish fashion, but the choreography is a bit amateur, and weird, almost stiff.... Still, try it...probably you won't be surprised but it will be entertaining enough...

The movie has some sort of 90s vibr, but in a bad way. The fights are poorly filmed, the actors are bad, and the plot has a lot of loopholes in it.3/10 for some nice gore.
The actresses are ugly as hell, with no sensuality whatsoever.
The sound dubbing and editing is very poor. Putting a sword away or rotating a sword is louder than sone gunshots.
There are just some nice gory scenes, and the fights show some knowledge from the actors. Claudio is a known kickboxer, and there are a lot of scenes that show his know-how.
Too bad the overhall quality of the movie isn't a bit better. Is nice to feel this old vibe again...
