First off, props on the practical effects. But I can't give you brownie points for it.
The story is stale and extremely tiresome. First 10 minutes I was glued. Then you lost me when the boys were at the house. What was supposed to be achieved here? Everyone appeared to be lost, and that left me confused. The plot and character development is pretty poor, it's like they tried to grab a little bit of everything and threw it into the bag.
Some of the acting was laughably over the top or void of emotion. The neighbours and home and away acting training really stands out here.
The practice effects was your strong point, you should had a monster flick, killing a few aussies, no one survives plot, so you could your no brain ending and still make a few people happy.
Sorry for 2/10, but that's an hour and a half I can't get back.
