Brittany O'Grady really deserved this chance to shine and she made the most of it. Always felt she was the real talent in Star and she proved it here. She has a marvelously expressive face, beyond the fact that she is gorgeous. I thank Sara Bareilles for giving her this stage and also for highlighting so many other musicians and singers along the way. Louie and his friends added such joy to the show and the whole ensemble worked well for me. Many music business tropes are addressed - is talent enough, does fitting a genre matter, is the business too hard to crack? In the end, if a song makes me cry, it has been successful and this drew tears for many reasons.. Who needs Mickey Mouse, Sara? Their loss. Thank you.

Wow, Conan O' Brien was wasted doing a talk show. This is where he is brilliant. Off the cuff with regular people, not celebrities. I don't think I have ever cried from laughter, now that I think about it. What a great feeling. Just watch one episode and see if it doesn't solve all the world's problems for you immediately. He should do this show till he dies it is so good. Every country must be visited! Just a site gag every minute, the Norwegian clothing, agghhh!

I would stop there but damned IMDB makes you go on ad nauseam to hit the minimum word count, seriously? So watch this show right now.

That should be the title of this show. If it was supposed to be about ballet you would never know it. Less talk and more dance would be nice.

As far as the script goes, nobody talks like this, and it shows in the halting delivery and verbosity of every line. The writers think they are two clever by half. I really wonder if dancers watching this think it has served them well as people or if they have simply stereotyped the heck out of everyone. I hope so, because the only likeable characters so far are the cleaning woman's daughter and the bull.

As a viewer, I would like to see dance as the main character, channeled through a few great dancers.
