Freddy has been turned into a complete parody of himself and I don't think this is a total failure, this comedic aspect about Freddy has been present since the first film, it just feels like the horror is lacking in this one.
Seems like a good premise with surrounded by clichés, charismatic and contemporary. Taking this to Paris gives the show it's own charm.
The fact of the clichés doesn't make this a bad show and we are just starting so we'll have to se how this all develops.
