I rented Valhalla hoping of an "epic" story about the Viking Valhalla and him rising to kick some royal viking a%%! Sadly I was terribly.. terribly mistaken.
To make things equal for everyone, think of this movie this way. Some people like to find art to be mosaic and to say something, like some of the things Leonardo da Vinci made. Some like to find meaning in a painting that doesn't show it up front, just like someone taking a paintbrush and just brushing streaks left/right then throwing a bunch of splash's everywhere. Valhalla Rising falls into streaks and splash's, it takes a bunch of people you know nothing and will never know nothing about, it puts you in a scene where you know nothing of, it has no dialogue to explain anything that's really happening, and in the end you end up making up your own mind of what really happened.
For me, I need to see and hear a meaning. I felt really appalled that I just wasted 2 hours and $4.99+tax on something that showed me and said to me, nothing. But for some it could of been the best thing they've seen all week!
My overall conclusion = Vikings are way more bada%% than this!

Dog Pound had a huge effect on me unlike most films that have come out in the past couple months. You start to really feel for the characters and their issues also everything during the movie goes along smoothly. Every actor worked their role correctly and, in my opinion, perfectly. If people just truly gave a couple seconds to be down to earth with these juniors, just for once put yourself in their own positions, many of the problems in this film could of had a much better outcome. Great story, great action, and just overall a good watch. This is a must see for everyone who has the stomach and the mind set. These actions are actually happening today and needs to be solved.. but sadly I may not see it in my years.
