It was the best film of the year.. hands down , this has got it all. It reminds me of Twin Peaks , its just so out there with its originality , and the acting was up there with the performances of Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee , the womens performances brought in influnences of Jamie Lee Kurtis , of Neve Campell and Weaver segorny , yes ... this is the kind of film that will still keep coming up on peoples favourate lists for decades to come , possibly centuries to come ... really , how come films get made like this ? I mean , how come films get made like this ? Do i need to say it again ? How come ? They are so good that once you have seen it you can put it back on and just watch it back to back , thats what I suggest you do , this is my third night of repeat watching of this film , I prob have never watched a film 3 nights in row , but thats what I did , it was so good that there was no competion out there to compete with this film ... you enjoy this film , you are lucky to have found this film , and luckier still to have the choice , yes the choice , the choice to watch this over and over , every single night , 7 days a week , 365 days a year ... now that is not luck , that , that , that is fate ...

This film is seminal , wow wow and more wow. How this was made is a phenomina in itself. Sometimes it just works and boy oh boy does this work. It works a bit and then it works a bit more , then when you think it cant work any more it keeps on working. Yes its that good ... so where shall we start ? How about we start at the beginnning shall we ? Couple are in the car , couple go into woods , couple get into some bizare unexplainable stuff , couple show they are couragous and overcome obstacles. Does that sound good to you ? Well I can tell you right now its better than what you imagine , a lot better than you can possibly visualise and better than any other simliar film like this you might think you have ever seen , its that good. So if you think you are ready to watch it after this review can I suggest one thing ? One little thing ? A treat , yes treat yourself , to that one little treat ... a bowl ... a bowl of popcorn ... it doesnt have to be dry salted one , it can be the sugar one , a bowl of sugar coated popcorn ... treat yourself as your sit down for this movie , and you know what , let yourself , let yourself have a drink , it could be a glass of water , or a soda , or a cup of tea ... combine the two , popcorn and some liquid ... now you go and enjoy one of the greatest films of 2024 ... it is a fantasic film.

I did not know what to expect when I sat down to watch this film , I knew it had the title Lord of Wolves but knew little else.

I sat at my HD tv and pressed play on my VCR recorder ( i had transcribed it to betamax format since it is prefered method to view the picture )

As the opening sequence began I knew I was getting into a quality film , the actors were superb , the setting the music and the ambience all began to absorb the evening.

I opened a packet of my new popcorn I had bought earlier in the day. As I munched the film began to unveil its intricate storyline.

I was reminded of a Romereo classic film , it beat American warewold in london since this was so much more complicated with better acting.

It was riveting .

As the credits came up I knew I had watched a classic , one which will be remembered and talked about in the decades to follow. It was classic.
