Cuttputlli is a thriller movie adapted from tamil movie ratsasan. As compared to the original it doesn't stands anywhere. In serial killer stories (this script deals with the same) , the identity of the killer and his background with detail is an important aspect which should be a major part of the story. And exactly that's where cuttputlli lacked. Although other aspects of the film are also not effective compared to the tamil thriller. South actor radha ravi 's character has been eliminated from the hindi adaptation whereas in the tamil version the character played an important role. The villain's character and back story has not been developed. Climax looked too forceful. Although villain joshua leclair gave his best in the hindi version but he couldn't stand anywhere compared to sarvanan naan who played villain in the tamil version. Reason is the the way the role was written. Other aspects such as location, make up, character details, sound were not that effective. Suspense build up was okay Although in technical aspects efforts was done but it was average. The only strong element in hindi version is actor sujith shanker's performance as purshottam tomar. He gave a stellar performance.

All in all cuttputlli is an average film.

In the car directed by harshavardhan is a brilliant movie with interesting plot. All actors are brilliant. They are realistic in their performances. Special mention about the actor playing the role of petrol pump guy. His performance doesn't looks as if he is acting. Storyline is fast paced, camera work, editing, cinematography, music, location and all other elements are handled with depth. The plot deals with the theme of safety for women. A girl is kidnapped and what happens after that forms the rest of the story. The inner turmoil of the girl (after kidnapping) and the desperation of the kidnappers and the helplessness of the driver is well portrayed in the story. The scenes shot inside the car is well handled.

In nutshell a brilliant realistic film to watch.

Jai kaali directed by nikhil saini, released in 1992 , is an action horror myth film which portrays the plight of workers working in poor conditions in outskirts areas. This film is based in girnair village where workers work in mines and are badly exploited by the ruthless owner (saeed jaffery) . Nobody in the region raises their voice for the plight of these poor workers. Hema malini (writer shikali) comes to town to write a book on these tribal workers and witness their poor conditions. When she protests, she is attacked by the villains and as a result later, with the help of pujari (rajesh vivek), she confronts the villains. Plot and story is good. The issue of plight of tribals is good and well handled. All actors and actresses do well in their parts but main performances to watch is saeed jaffery and rajesh vivek. They once again prove their mettle as actors.
