I watched the movie on Tubi, I thought Brooke Piedra and Mike Markoff did some really good acting and their scenes carried the movie 100%. Everyone else's acting was amateur and those scenes I felt brought the production value down and pulled me out of the story because there was such a contrast of quality of acting throughout the film from scene to scene. For the most part the cinematography was good, I felt there was some opening scenes in the car that should have been thought out more on how they captured them because they weren't so great. The story is an interesting idea for a film. I kept watching to see what was going to happen between Jessica and Dan. What I hoped to see didn't happen, but I'd say it's worth the watch to see the acting between Brooke Piedra and Mike Markoff. Outside of that just expect to enjoy an independent film and all the things that come along with one. It was a fun watch. Thanks for making it.
One of the best written independent films I have ever had the privilege to see. John Vamvas and Olga Montes acting is incredible. Their characters are as dynamic and as incredible as the story. John plays Luigi a gangster who lives his own deranged fantasy of his favorite movies. Olga plays Holly his ditzy lovable mob wife. They come together to spend their 1-year anniversary in a Las Vegas motel room. The 2 of them through Luigi's psychosis take the audience on one amazing journey through out cinema history. Never leaving the room, never a dull moment, with twist and turns we the audience stay happily entertained. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves good writing and good acting.
It's a fun award-winning thriller. Made in the heart of Hoboken, New Jersey. You see the iconic city as you enjoy the suspense. Faith Stanek as 'Kate' really gives an actual portrayal of a true psychopath. Sheilagh Weymouth breaks through barriers as 'Grandma', a no-nonsense grandmother out to find her grandson at whatever the risk. Victoria Meade is great as the sleep deprived 'Detective Marsh' on the hunt for the missing people of Hoboken. Sheldon J Nicholas Jr. Brings an innocence to 'James Madison' that we watch fade as circumstances affect him to make choices no one should have to make. Maggie Wagner brings a sophisticated style as the 'Potential home buyer'. Jett Miller is the perfectly funny comic relief as the 'Barber at the building'. Tara Troy's performance is excellent as the 'barber on the street' who just can't seem to take her break without answering questions. Israel Caraballo Jr. Really shines with genuine concern as the 'Chief of Police' worried for his detective. Terralon Walker portrayed the perfect business professional as the 'Realtor'. With all of the great performances to bounce off of in the film, it's easy to see how Andy Bowles gave the level of performance he did as 'Richard Gates'. Which won Andy the 'Best Actor award' for Dungeon as well as the 'Best Feature: Thiller / Horror award' at the 24th annual Bare Bones Internation Film and Music Festival 2023. Which is true acknowledgement of entire cast performance value. Worth watching!!!
