The first few episodes of this new season have demonstrated a number of things, none of them good. The new showrunner Chibnall, for example, can't write. Really, his stories are clunky with really bad dialogue and with just a ton of npc propaganda. Anyone who wants to view a well researched and thought out investigation into Chibnalls inability to write should check out 'nitpix' chibnall episode on youtube...but I digress... This story, like the others, contained really bad acting, really bad dialogue, a plot that made no sense and..you guessed it...a ton of npc propaganda. And as for the new Dr.....Jodie Whitaker thinks that the way to play the part of the Dr is to stare at things with a goofy expression, overact to the point of pantomime level campness and run around like an autistic child. It really is a shame, i've been a fan since 1986 and to see this show sink so low is just awful. We would all be better off if they just cancelled it. #canceldoctorwho

This film is something of a mixed bag! As a fan of Timothys work I was eager to watch this film just to see Tim Dalton,and not so much for the "Troubles" storyline which,and lets face it,Hollywood has done an abysmal job of bringing to the big screen. Dodgy accents aside,this is a fairly accurate film which shows the IRA as the thugs they are,murdering police officers and shooting children. I thought Timothys performance was pretty good,although the accent needed a bit of work. Cary Elwes was thoroughly annoying as the army lt trying to befriend "gingy", who was equally irritating because he constantly had that "i picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue" look on his face. If you want to see a fairly accurate portrayal of the terrorism that existed in Northern Ireland in the 1990's warts and all,watch this movie! If you want to cling to the belief that the IRA are heroes fighting for truth,justice and a pint of Guinness instead of being the murderers and drug dealers they really are, then my advice is to get real!

An ok documentary.I had looked forward to this for about two weeks since first spotting it in the tv guide.I was especially looking forward to Timothy Dalton,however I was to be disappointed. Instead of giving fairly in depth coverage to the individual James Bonds,the producers decided to interview all and sundry,and as a result each "interview" lasted only a few minutes.One feels if they left out all the usual clips and had shown Shirly Bassy the door then we could have been in for a treat.But,as a result,we were left with something that had been done a thousand times before. A missed opportunity!
