I'm a people person. Or so I thought. This group is, first take, hinging on intolerable. I'm halfway through episode one and had to come here to see if I'm alone in expecting this to be one big cringefest.
"Do you believe in astrology?" If I was asked this in such an environment I would have run screaming or passed out in shock.
Crystals, incense, auras, and shakras. Are these people for real? The oversharing and forced sentimentality is not working. It seems so inorganic and inauthentic. The affectational speaking and cookie cutter airy-fairy tree hugging is making my nauseus. I don't know if I'll be able to watch any more.
Last season Thursdays couldn't come quick enough.
Whoever is casting or recruiting needs to go.

I really thought this was going to be the movie for me. I love horror, suspense, dogs. Watching Indy go through is paces kept me engaged.
I saw a trailer the other day and what I saw had me believe the movie was going to be a fun ride. The scene in the trailer that had me decide to watch the film was im the movie but not much else of import was as impactful.
Half way through, more or less it became a chore to keep going. I took a few breaks then followed through to the end. It ended. I'm reviewing it now. That's about it.

Truly A mixed bag. All the good stuff was at the top.
The movie started out fine. I was truly invested. The performances were above par. The setting, lead ins, direction all set up for a fun ride.
Then the ridiculous kicked in.
The last 30-40 mins were so preposterous, I find many films today preposterous but this truly takes the cake. The situations at the end seemed to have been written by a 3rd grader with a over the top imagination. I am perplexed. It was like there were 3 directors and producers. One each for the beginning, the middle, and the end. I wouldn't call it rubbish but it is on the verge. A WTF experience. It was like a train wreck, I didn't like what was happening in the end but I was too shocked to look away.
