Raid 2 is the perfect continuation of the legacy set by the original Raid.
While the story shares similarities with the first film, the writing and screenplay give it a fresh feel, making it an entertaining new experience rather than a repetitive one.
Ajay Devgn fully embodies Amay Patnaik once again. Vaani Kapoor does a decent job stepping into the role previously played by Ileana D'Cruz, while Riteish Deshmukh shines as the antagonist. Amit Sial is another standout, lighting up the screen from the moment he appears, and Saurabh Shukla effortlessly brings back his unique aura with impactful moments sprinkled throughout.
The film's biggest drawback is its songs. There are two songs in the first half meant to showcase Amay and Malini's relationship, but the second song unnecessarily slows the pace. Tamannaah Bhatia's item number also feels forced, appearing during a tense moment and breaking the flow of the story.
The first half of Raid 2 is engaging (apart from the songs) and maintains a good pace. The second half begins to feel slightly stretched just before the climax, but it quickly regains momentum.
Speaking of the climax, it is the perfect conclusion for this film and makes the entire watch worthwhile. While a few scenes are predictable a couple of seconds before they happen, it doesn't take away from the overall experience.
If you enjoyed Raid 1, this sequel is definitely worth watching.

Raid is, in my opinion, a must-watch film. The premise is fairly straightforward - conducting a raid on a wealthy household - but it's the story's progression that truly elevates the experience.
Despite its simple plot, the film manages to keep viewers engaged from start to finish. The way the narrative unfolds - gradually revealing hidden loot locations and building suspense about what will happen next - is brilliantly executed. The parallel storyline involving Amay's wife adds emotional depth and balance, making the overall experience even more compelling.
The runtime is about two hours, which feels just right. I'm glad the filmmakers didn't drag it out unnecessarily.
Saurabh Shukla delivers a standout performance, Ajay Devgn plays his role with authority, and Ileana D'Cruz does a commendable job portraying the supportive and strong-willed wife.
All in all, Raid is a gripping and well-crafted film that's definitely worth watching.

The makers do dramatize the story a bit but they don't go overbound with it, they still keep it simple while adding some dramatic scenes just to keep the viewers hooked which doesn't ruin the viewing experience at all.
Vikrant Massey shines in his role as usual, he plays off his character well, Rashi Khanna also does a great job. Riddhi Dogra manages to get that bossy attitude alright. So no complains in the acting aspect.
The movie is only 2 hours long which doesn't stretch the screenplay much, and doesn't even give you a chance to blink, the movie starts off with the main plot and ends with the plot.
A Must Watch according to me, Simple and not much dramatization.
