Carlos Antonio Leon was born in a small village called "El Alto" (The tall) in the Venezuelan Andes. He started his career at early age (18) as a model first, producer, entertainer, dancer and an actor. He studied acting with Venezuela's best known acting coach, Nelson Ortega and his popular acting school "Luz Columba." Later, Leon went to earn a BA in Psychology from Webster University and a MSW from one of the top ten universities in the country, Washington University in St. Louis. He also attended the master class at the Beverly Hills Playhouse under the guidance of Howard Deutch ("Pretty in Pink" "Two old grumpy men"). Leon can be seen in films such as "Shadowland" (also known as "Twilight Hunters"), "The Sound of Nothing," "Job's Daughter," "Los 8-6," "Complot," "A Paper Tiger Burns," "Blindado," "The Third Wish," and the very well received "Ann" for which he won "Best Lead Actor" at Social Machinery Film Festival in Italy, "Best Performance" at Santo Domingo OUTfest, "Best Performance of Fest" at Actor's Awards in Los Angeles, "Honorable Mention in Acting" at The IndieFest in San Diego CA, and "Best Actor of 2018" by the Circle of Film Critics of Venezuela amongst a dozen more nominations.
