Death Wish 5 is about Paul Kersey (played by Charles Bronson), a former vigilante who seeks revenge against a fashion syndicate after the syndicate damages and kill his fiance. Paul Kersey must now become the vigilante again to seek justice.

Death Wish 5 is a pretty by the numbers movie not just in the action genre but also by Death Wish standards as well.

It's no secret all the Death Wish movies vary in quality.

The 1st one is pretty good and I would even say the 2nd one is even better (in entertainment anyway).

The 3rd ones ridiculous but again still very entertaining and the 4th one while it did have some twists and a some what good story it ended up just being okay in the action department.

Now we have the 5th one and it's pretty clear they were just completely out of steam.

There's nothing new or original here.

They pretty much just reuse the exact same plot of the 1st 4 movies again which I wouldn't mind if the movie was at least clever or entertaining about it but it isn't.

Nobody seems like there trying in this movie. Nobody. Everything and everyone just seems like they were there for a paycheck or just didn't try and I mean everything.

The actors, the look of the movie, the plot, the camera work. Everything feels like it's on auto pilot. Barely any passion or energy at all.

Even the action scenes are super underwhelming and by the numbers.

There's literally a scene in the movie where the bad guys shoot at Charles Bronson character and all they do is hit vases and nothing else. That's it. No big explosions. No interesting choreography. Just vases explode. That's how lazy they were and the whole movie has that kind of feeling. Everything just feels like its there.

The only good thing in this movie is Charles Bronson. He still looks cool and great for his age but that's it. He can only do so much in a paper thin movie like this.

As it stands this movie is either just okay or forgettable. Like I said earlier it's just there. It fails as a action movie and as a Death Wish movie.

Like I said all the movies weren't perfect but they were at least either entertaining or interesting.

This one isn't either so it just falls flat and barely has anything to show for it. The only thing it has to it's name is its the last Death Wish movie and that's it.

Maybe if you get a bunch of friends together for a bad movie night it might be worth watching but that's about it.

Dragon Ball Curse of the blood rubies is a movie that re tells/re imagines the 1st season of Dragon Ball.

Literally all they did was replace the villian from the show with another villian (Who is far more forgettable), add a few more characters, and crush the entire plot of the 1st season into 50 minutes. That's it.

Maybe it's not so bad if you didn't watch the 1st season or the show for that matter but if you did this movie just pales in comparison.

For starters the movie never takes a break. The characters are always running from one scene to the next. There's never a moment where you can take in the scenery or get to know the characters at all. Somethings always happening and it never stops, making the whole movie feel rushed.

There's a couple of cool action scenes here and there which can be cool but that's about it.

Another problem is the dub.

Now this is just a me problem and it probably doesn't effect the Japanese version but in the dub (which was made in 2010) they recasted pretty much all the characters with new voices which are different from the regular show.

This was jarring at 1st and while I did get used to them, simply put there just not as good as the old voice actors from the original dub, and they already add on to making this movie look more like a water down version of the show.

The script for the movie is pretty bleh as well. It's not nearly as funny as the show or clever. The whole movie just feels underwhelming and forgettable. Not terrible though. Just average.

I would honestly just recommend people would watch the show or the 4th movie Path to Power which is another retelling of the 1st season but much better.

The Big Brawl(1980) or Battle Creek Brawl as some call is a fun and thrilling martial arts movie.

It was made by the same people who made Enter The Dragon (1973) and Game of Death (1978) and it stars Jackie Chan in his 1st American movie in an attempt to repeat the success of the former 2 movies particularly Enter The Dragon. Does it?

Well it's like comparing apples and oranges.

Enter the Dragon is more a spy/action adventure movie while Battle Creek Brawl is more of a comedy/action adventure movie. There both good it just really depends on what you like.

I will say Battle Creek Brawl (1980) is a really fun movie. It's paced well, the music is really good, and the plot/character's are really good which I'll admit is really hard to find when it comes to these kung fu movies.

I just really like the character's, there so much fun and easy to understand. The movie also looks great as well being more of a period piece move rather then taking place in modern day.. The fight scenes with Jackie Chan are as expected really good to and very creative. As it has all the stuff you would expect from him including using slapstick/objects as weapons and it also really shows off his stunt work as well which is impressive. We even see him pull off some impressive kicks and punches kind of like Bruce Lee.

In fact Jackie Chan himself should really stopped being compared to Bruce Lee or his work because while both are similar, the 2 are really talented on there own and should be admired as such.

Same thing with Battle Creek Brawl (1980).

Like I said it's a really fun movie with tons of creative fight scenes, a heart warming story/character's and a visually impressive one at that with a killer soundtrack.

It's a underrated classic that unfortunately gets buried under Jackie's more successful movies and Enter the Dragon (1973).
