Ok, I admit, Season 3 got a little smarmy, especially Helen's character, but Season 4 is back on solid footing with great storylines and well acted. My only two complaints are: 1) "Bailey's" fake Southern Accent.... I have lived in here all my life, and have traveled throughout, and can honestly say I have never heard anyone speak that way other than actors attempting to mimic what they think a Southerner sounds like. It is truly grating!

2) Cal needs a haircut! Give that man a style that flatters his features instead of looking like he cut it himself, with the kitchen shears! It just looks scraggly.

Obviously not filmed anywhere in the southeast of the United States...there are no mountains near our beaches! Watched this because OBX is one of my favorite places to vacation, when I leave my home in Virginia Beach, and was sorely disappointed at the first shot of "The Outer Banks" when I saw ot looked nothing like anything even remotely near this area....almost not sre I want to finish watching this, but will try push through, depsite the review already posted. Maybe someone should scout locations a little better to at least come close for those of us who are familiar with these areas..........................

The story was ok, not a whole lot of real drama, but it was quite disturbing how the main character looked like Kimberly Paisley Williams with a bad dye job periodically....not her, but still a bad dye job, and equally bad stylist for her that allowed that hair and make up....whoever did that to hwr certaily shouldn't be allowed on any more Hallmark sets. The acting was a bit stilted, and the plot slow. Not really plausible, but that's common in a Hallmark movie...usually the whimsy is the charm, but this story lacked that too. Definitely not a story that the couple would be regaling the grandkids with in years to come....
