Yes, that's right, all these reviews are wayy off.

Is the drama very cringe? Hell yeah but is that exactly what these type of series are about? Also yeah. I didn't sign up to watch this for seriousness or expecting a master piece; i did so to have a goofy and steamy time just as most people did and thats exactly what is delivered.

Could a lot of things have improved? Yes. Did the actress annoy me at times cuz of her out done lips and lack of forehead movement? Yes. But come on, i have seen better reviews under the worse movies and dramas with worse actors with even worse surgeries. ALSO, SHE DOES NOT SEEM OLD AT ALL, EVEN IF SHE DID DEF NOT IN COMPARISON TO THE LEAD ACTOR. In my eyes they seem much closer in age than people are making it out to look. These are the same people that flaunt over other Bollywood or Hollywood actors acting with female leads twice or even 3 times younger than them.

Everyone that is going above and beyond to hate on this fun and actually quiet the nice drama, is 1 very jealous of the actress or 2. Is pissed at how modern and a little different it is, and yes there is also 3-- for the people that this drama simply isnt for them. And that is completely understandable. What is however not understandable is that if its not, why take the time to leave so many negative comment or review unless you like these type of dramas and movies when its from the western world?!

What i mean by "just gorgeous" isn't just a reference to the marvellous animation, visual and style, im mainly referring to the plot.

The plot was so well written and overall different to a very well known concept of "defeating a demon king" the contrasting factor between this masterpiece and others, is its unique take on the plot where the story follows an immortal being dealing with the aftermath of the demon kings defeat.

The emotions are expressed beautifully with just the perfect pace, it kept me engaged all throughout and never bored me. Definitely a rare gem i haven't come across in awhile. The characters are so well crafted, there wasn't a single character i disliked or couldnt understand. The deep bonds between each of them is def the part that makes this so special.

However, for people who are unable to grasp different perspectives and dealing with a comfortingly paced plot, this may not be best suited for you. But i hope you give it a chance. You wont know how you feel about it without trying it for yourself, now would you?

Overall, if you are interested in themes of action, friendship, magic, fantasy, diff expressions of love and intricate plot, I implore anyone and everyone to watch this. Its comforting, fresh, immersive, beautiful and most significantly it provides us with an important lesson.

Its a very simple, fun and an adorable representation of sweet love and friendships. I loved this cdrama and the onyl reason for the 8/10 is due to my liking for some more action and some form of conflict.

It was super cute and perfect for when you don't wanna watch anything heavy.

Plus, the cinematography, wardrobe and aesthetics of this drama was top tier. They clearly put a lot of thought into how they represented each character.

If you aren't a huge fan of stories without conflict and some sort of drama, this brilliance is unfortunately not for you, BUT don't let that stop you from giving it a try. Perhaps you may actually enjoy something different and light hearted.
