I felt called to give a review because I absolutely loved the storyline. It was really cute and had some original aspects to it, amongst the sea of verticals that all seem so similar. I wanted to give it a higher rating for that reason and because I really loved the two lead actors.

That being said, the big downfall for me was that it was way too rushed. It felt like it was missing big chunks of the story and development. And I realize that verticals often have very little character development, but this had next to nothing. It also needed a little more time in the beginning for the romance development. Because that was so rushed, I didn't really believe the love/passion between the two main characters. If it wasn't for their good acting, this would have been a huge flop. I do still recommend giving it a chance if you are a verticals lover.

So I've watched a lot of these verticals romance movies. Some of them feel very discombobulated and all over the place. This one did not have that issue. This is one of the first ones that I've seen that i feel could have totally been a Hallmark Channel movie. I only gave it an 8 because i feel like the writing was a little poor in certain areas. Wanted to give it a 10 just because the lead male is dreamy! Haha. But the storyline is adorable and both of the leads are great actors! Their chemistry was absolutely believable and you couldn't help but root for them and fall in love with them over the course of the movie. Super cute.
