The movie is quite hard-hitting emotional and the camera style makes it feel fast-paced as well. Far from being a perfect film (the model story doesn't seem to fit well with the others), it does raise the level of the current wave of Mexican film and is perhaps the first cosmopolitan film we've had in a while (as can be seen by reading the locations from which the other people posted). Should see it if you can, as it is rare that a mexican movie will take itself seriously and get away with that.
This is one of the funniest movies and the greatest Santo movie, perhaps only challenged by "Santo el enmascarado de plata y Blue Demon vs. los monstruos." It should be enjoyed with friends, as then you could discuss the progressive social critique this movie lays down. Not really.
Although I suppose this show is meant mainly for women, it's quite easy for anyone to get hooked on the thing as you have a nice mixture of very simple stories and characters and smart dialogue. By smart I mean that it is full of witty remarks (which sound totally phony, but aw, who cares) writers are so fond of. The only bad thing about that is that it reminds me of "It's Like... You Know" (which was a work of art, by the way) and its very premature cancellation.
