Went into this pretty blind not knowing what to expect at all. Was instantly captivated by the intensity of the show, a fast-moving thriller that somehow manages to keep the creepy and sometimes terrifying quality of a good supernatural horror. If you actually pay attention to what's going on, the story and concepts are quite thought-provoking and well written, with lots of things to wonder about and mysteries that leave you curious in a good way. The pacing is fast, at no point did I feel bored or want to go do something else. This held all the way through the entirety of season one. I binge-watched, captivated by the excellent acting and visuals. Even with all the crazy action going on, somehow it manages to keep some moments of real dread. Some of the things in it, if you think about them, have truly terrifying implications. This is without a doubt one of the best shows I have ever seen on Netflix, which means it's in huge danger of being cancelled because for some reason Netflix ignores what the audience wants and pipelines total crap while chopping first-rate shows like this.

So watch it multiple times and demand more! Don't miss this!

When I watched this I wasn't sure what to expect. Even after watching most of it I still didn't know what to expect. The acting was OK, at time cheesy, and at least once I broke out laughing because it was so badly done. The pace often plods, even though the mystery leaves you guessing yet somehow still disappointed throughout most of the film.

Why then do I still consider this a good movie?

Because, despite all the flaws in telling the story, the story itself, in my opinion, somehow manages to reach a conclusion that is unexpected and, for me at least, had a big impact. This is is a rare thing and it made the entire movie worth it. If you are the kind of person who has to see explosions and stuff to enjoy a movie you will not like this (this is part of the reason i said it often leaves you disappointed) but if you temper that with curiosity and a fascination with things unknown, you may just find the ending hits you as hard as it did me.

The crafting of this movie is not masterful. But I believe the story it tells is genuinely worth thinking about.
