I gave an 8 to this movie only because I felt bad to put a 5 or a 6 because it was way below the voting average.
This movie's first (and almost only) weakness was the scene at the beginning where Jackie becomes an Indian and "Who Am I".
The thing that I disliked the most about this movie was the lack of sauce around the meat. I explain myself. This story had a perfect starting theme or plot. The psychology could've been a masterpiece. But Jackie Chan DIRECTED the movie also. I can easily agree that he is an excellent stunt man and, if you push it a bit, a great actor. Imagine if a Kubrick or a Coppola would've directed this movie. I can only dream of it...

Dawson's Creek's high TV crowd is based on the originality of bringing old boring subjects (homosexuality, love, etc.) back to life with a new touch of intelligence. Writer Kevin Williamson makes us wannabe one of the caracters. We sympathize with or hate Joey, Pacey, Dawson, etc. Everybody recognizes him(her)self in one or the other of them. Personally, being a 15 year old boy, I dream of a relationship like Pacey and Andy's, and then, I think I'm stupid. And I am right. Nothing like it exists in the real life. But how much does a dream cost?
Since 1996, this series has evolved quite a bit. I see some episodes now and then, but I've discovered that the TV Hebdo is a much better tool to view the series. In two lines per episode, it gives us all the significant " punches " to enable us to follow Virginia well.
I noticed since the beginning of the 98-99 season a fall in quality, an obvious lack of imagination of Fabienne Larouche, the writer. The abortions, the jealous mothers, the teacher-student relationships, homosexuality, the sudden death of a close relation, all that, they are exhausted topics. You are not surprised if Évelyne tries out these first rules in some episodes...
Again, it is getting worse - apart from continuity, in the sense that the pupils graduate and change school years. Not as in Beverly Hills 90210, which was made over a period of 7 years until the stars went to college...
