It had its funny moments, but what really bothered me is the toxic main character that just refuses to grow. "I don't want a new apartment I don't want new furniture".
Everybody is always so nice to him but he doesn't treat them with respect, even jeopardizing the relationship to his best friend.
And after countless episodes he still didn't learn a thing. To me it looks like the embodiment of a wrong male role model. At heart he is a child, being cooked and cared for by his granny and his long term girl friend. He smokes he drinks, he doesn't spend quality time with his girlfriend, but in the end she is always there when he needs something. So why grow up. To make him likeable at least he doesn't cheat and what you see is what you get.
The message: don't try to change conservative males. Only take them as they are.

If you are looking for fun, entertainment and excitement this is the movie for you. Even without having seen the first movie you'll enjoy it.
Performances are great and over the top (when they need to be). A few throwbacks to the first installment, a host of new characters and avatars. We saw it in 3D which is flawless (which I cannot say of all blockbusters lately).
Yes it might be controversial for some, but even the ADA changed their guidelines for low-carb recently and lowcarb and ketogenic are slowly gaining acceptance.
Seeing the context under which the original food pyramid and saturated fat is evil craze began was nice.
Also the amount of historical film they filmmakers uncovered is great, even if you already know the story from books or blogs.
