If you like Picture Claire, or even if you don't, I highly recommend you try to view Claire's Hat. Not really an official movie, it's an excuse film by the director, in an attempt to pardon himself for the terrifyingly bad bomb he'd produced. Wickedly funny for anyone inside or out of the film world, it's something everyone should see. Unfortunately, I haven't heard about any plans for a release of Claire's Hat. If there ever is, grab the chance and see this movie. The best flick of 2003, it will not disappoint.
When I first saw this movie, I was taken in just like the 12000 people who voted positively for the movie on this site. I believed everything it said, and came away disgusted by Charlton Heston, The Media, and George Bush.
Then I read 'The Truth about Bowling for Columbine', and my eyes were opened. Turns out that Charlton Heston is and was in fact a civil rights activist who supported integration, and is not the despicable racist Moore depicts him to be. Although I could never say The Media or George Bush were entirely innocent, arguments regarding why they are "evil" are also falsified. By liberally cutting parts of interviews and speeches to prove points that weren't true, he mislead all of us. We fell for it, because we thought we were watching a real documentary.
But the truth is, Michael Moore blatantly lied in his "documentary," and for this reason should be stripped of his Oscar. If you like non-fiction so much, Michael, why don't you put some of it into your movies?

I absolutely love the Pink Floyd, but have been let down by Floyd-related things in the past, so I was quite wary of this movie. It managed to win me over, however, and now it's one of my favourites.
It was absolutely hysterical to see Mason go absolutely wild and smash his drums so hard that one of his sticks was flung off into the distance. It was amazing, how fast he managed to recover with a spare. Makes you wonder if he has some sort of quick release drum stick gadget hidden somewhere in his pants.
All in all, a fantastic piece. I highly recommend it!
