The rest of the so called plot and story was made for people with as many neurons as there were people in this movie.
As many have correctly mentioned in their reviews, there are so many scientific holes in this movie (if you can call this garbage "a movie") that it actually gives the viewer a feeling of disgust and getting insulted, instead of fresh ideas and good feelings (or at least life lessons). No, taking responsibility was not one of the life lessons from this movie. If there was a life lesson in this colossal mess it was that future is filled with people who are assigned to missions based on any other criteria except merit and proper qualification for those jobs.
I really wanted to like and enjoy this movie but instead found it to be just another Netflix produced garbage (their current ratio producing garbage/good is 13/1).

I watched 5 seasons for entertainment value; sure, but I was also interested in finding out the mysteries-to-be-solved. Well, 2 episodes into season 6, I think I have a pretty clear idea. That plus agent Keen acting like the elder daughter of Brad Pitt's character in World War Z, I'm done with this series.
My theory about the mysteries?
Once upon a time, during the time of Soviet Union, there was a beautiful female KGB agent named Katarina Roskova. She unwittingly falls in love with a young and handsome smooth criminal. Let's call him Roman Gustav.
Katarina was sent to USA on an undercover mission to seduce a high ranking official from the defense department named Raymond Reddington.
To maintain her cover, she had to ultimately marry him. However, this does not sit right with Roman. He goes to USA and secretly starts meeting Katarina. They made love whenever they could.
Katarina gets pregnant from Roman and gives birth to a girl. Raymond, thinking she is his daughter, is very happy with the child. One day, Raymond receives an envelope with pictures of Katarina and Roman making love.
Raymond creates a plan to take Katarina and Masha to their beach bungalow to confront Katarina. Things get out of control, house catches fire and right when Raymond was about to kill Katarina, little Masha picks up the gun and shoots Raymond, fatally.
Roman takes Raymond's identity and has little Masha's memories altered so the child won't suffer PTSD from the memory of killing her own father.
Things should have been fine after that but Katarina and Roman/Raymond has a strong disagreement about his criminal lifestyle and she runs away from him, taking her daughter with her with Roman/Raymond hot on her tail. In order to protect Masha, she sends Kaplan to leave the child with a trusted Ally (probably another undercover KGB agent).
So my theory is that RR is actually a Russian or international criminal (a la bond?) who used Dr. Kohl to have his appearance altered to look like the original RR. Masha is his real daughter. Katarina, I think is alive somewhere but RR thinks she's dead.
I would have liked to watch the last three seasons but the FBI acting (freeze; hands up) nothing like the real FBI (shoot first; ask questions later or kill'em all and let God sort'em out) is getting too stupid (They are always one step behind criminals when it counts and don't get me started on Aram the weazel).
Side Note: I liked the original FBI (freeze, hands up).
Finally, the show definitely has a subtle propaganda value. Those who can see it know what I'm talking about. I wasn't surprised but sheesh, can't we just make movies/series for their educational or entertainments only?

This is just a typical horror movie. People going into places where they know they're gonna die.
I swear most of the horror movies could not be made without the directors, finding the most stupid characters existing on the planet.
I suppose many people will still find it enjoyable. Because stupidity aside the movie manages to create a sense of suspense and fear.
The acting was pretty good and the locations were pretty nice. I guess what kept this movie from becoming a good one is the lack of intelligence on the writers part.
If you like intelligent horror, movies, this one's not for you. However, if you're just killing time and want to watch a suspenseful movie with decent story and can ignore the writers making the characters act stupid then you will enjoy it.
