Deep Space 69 is what happens when someone roleplays a character and puts all their skill points to sex and comedic timing. It's a series that looks like a dumb sci-fi sex parody that turns out to be an incredibly entertaining and very dumb sci-fi sex parody, and it just keeps getting better.

Being just a simple premise such as, "a horny pilot and his koala shipmate adventures" really doesn't describe the quality and the entertainment value of each three to four minute episode. Deep Space 69 is no doubt one of the more original and novel than a lot of other sci-fi stories and comedies out there. It really tickles the male fantasy better than ever, and in a way that doesn't come off as crass or derivative. It has all the marks of creative and fun writing. This is one of the extremely rare cartoons that has made me laugh consistently with its punchlines ringing clear like Ali in the ring and its persona taking on something entirely easy to digest and enjoy in little bite-sized packages of male-centric comedy. This is one of the few gems to excavate from Rooster Teeth animation and it will stay with me always.

I have not yet watched this but I will be checking it out. I just had to make sure this disinformation posted by tazeenaman1 was corrected.

You'll see a lot of shows like these popping up in near future following the exceptional success of Rick And Morty.

Not interested in any variation of rick and morty. Plus why are they perverting it lol?

I obviously know some people will enjoy the show, because it's a show that's funny, duh. But for me, I can't digest the fact that it's so similar to Rick and Morty. Koala being morty and all these space adventures...I mean, I'd rather watch Rick and Morty once again.

Like many popular shows that are hated on like family guy and American dad robot chicken. People that do not separate themselves from the cult like social structures we have will not find these types of entertainment enjoyable. But as for many people globally enjoy this show even years after it was made. I enjoyed it whole heartedly. For the people that don't. It wasn't made for you. Don't bash on someone's view of humor.

8th-grade level, immature humor. There were no redeemable qualities that I found after pouring over several episodes. No person ever needs to watch this. There is no value in this 'show' even for ironic enjoyment. How anyone can unironically sit down and enjoy this I cannot fathom.

One of the best series there has been, think it's a shame that it stopped because this series really had potential and a lot of people watched it.
