Tom y Jerry: La brújula mágica

I can't agree with the other users' opinions on this film. Someone wrote that many complained it was a Chinese movie, and one person even said they hadn't seen it and only gave it a bad review based on rumors. I just thought, WTF? First of all, it's a Chinese movie, so of course it has Chinese customs and plot elements. Secondly, it was only released in the Chinese market anyway. Besides, reviewing a film without having seen it is also problematic. So here's my opinion, keeping in mind that this is a Chinese Tom and Jerry movie.

Personally, I found the movie really exciting, and the plot was really cool. Of course, as every Tom and Jerry fan knows, there's a lot of slapstick from the two of them that you just have to laugh along with. Even though it's just a Chinese movie, I think they could have shown it worldwide, because then they could have made even more money with it. But we know it's just a completely Chinese movie.

A nonsensical movie with no plot - like a painful-to-watch Chinese version of Tom & Jerry. It's full of messy and meaningless references to Chinese culture. It might have been the longest 90 minutes of my life. At least my son seemed to tolerate it - maybe just because he really likes Tom & Jerry. Don't waste your money and time..

This movie is truly amazing and wonderful to watch, it's like watching an angel with beautiful wings.

The plotline of the movie was weird, but the comedy and scenes were funny and some of them were even amazing to watch.

I'm truly recommending children to watch this movie, it's fun

Beautifully drawn as expected from a Chinese animation, that sums up the positives. I wanted to leave 5 minutes after the movie started and so did my 8 year old niece, we didn't, because my aunt who's with special needs said she liked it. She didn't, however laugh once and making her laugh is as easy as pointing a finger at her nose. I endured the movie and was immensely relieved when it was over, like a teenager on the last day of school. I hope this review deters as many people as possible and is the first one I've written on IMDb. Peace.

Nothing to do with the old classical Tom and Jerry.

In this movie they are just "extras" and are mainly used to start the plot of the story, which is very messy and difficult to understand specially if you are a child.

It is a story mainly for some Chinese customs.

If you are waiting to see Tom and Jerry find another movie, not recommending this...
