There are 3 usual factors movies are reviewed on.....storyline/plot arcs, casting/actors, production values, set design.
It's almost unfair to review production values in these vertical shorts. Exterior scenes are downloaded and copied in, interior scenes are low-budget sets or foyers of houses rented for a few shots. My favorite in this one was the villain mafia king signing his divorce agreement at his house with a 39-cent plastic non-retractable Bic pen. Review points 0
Storyline/plot arc: pure cheese storyline....19 year old Neela Jolene takes over 2 mafia territories from 2 retiring bosses. Needs to defend from 30 year old ex-husband competing mafia villain and protect a red-painted bullet that automatically will bring all politicians and mafioso to heel. Plot arc: the battle for territory and drug trade is a series of small time events that go back and forth so quickly that zero suspense is generated. Romance sub-storyline: 33 yo Sam Myerson is 19 yo Jolene's flame. Fortunately, there is only one make-out scene because it just looks so wrong. Review points 0
Casting: While the leads deliver their lines ok, the casting mis-match for both drama and romance elements doesn't work. Some of the supporting cast deliver credible roles, but it is certainly not enough to compensate for the previous major flaws. Review points 2.
