Campus Rivals

Campus Rivals has it all; rivalry, romance, heartbreak, plus so much emotion, all done extremely well. One of the best things for me was no slapping and no drugged drinks! It does have the obligatory falling into the pool so you still know it's a vertical!

With the exception of Lawson Greyson who plays Autumn, the best friend everybody wants to have, Eric Guilmette as Xavier Brooks, Adam Santa Cruz as Chad Miller, Vanessa Nottingham as Claire Emerson, and Brittany Marsicek as Hannah Myers, are all multi-faceted characters. Not one is perfect, definitely flawed, but you can see where the flaws and hurt come from which explains some of the behaviors.

It was so much fun to watch various vertical stars on the screen together -by the way, with the most amazing names!

Brilliantly written by Adam Santa Cruz, produced by Eric Guilmette, Adam Santa Cruz, Brielle Yuke Li, and Bomi Song, and directed by Tingting Lyu, this series on Vigloo is well worth the watch! I can definitely see the potential for an ongoing series!

A vertical drama that stands out above the rest for its distinctly non-vertical feeling vibe. It instead feels relatively grounded in real world scenarios with a cast of characters that reflect personality types everyone knows.

Campus Rivals is a real throwback to entirely relatable college days, with the chaos of friendship dramas, bitter rivalries and whirlwind summer romances that make you reminisce thinking "I wonder what ever happened to that person or where they are now..."

It's nice to see an array of characters who are all a little bit flawed and insecure in their own ways. You'll enjoy seeing a lot of familiar faces pop up throughout.

Campus Rivals is not just another college drama ,it's a masterfully written and performed series that dives deep into the emotional complexities, rivalries, friendships, and personal battles students face behind the scenes. Every episode felt authentic and beautifully layered, making it incredibly easy to connect with the characters and their journeys.

The entire cast delivered heartfelt and compelling performances. Each actor brought their role to life with such sincerity and depth that it was impossible not to get emotionally invested. From the moments of laughter to the scenes of heartbreak and confrontation, the ensemble carried the weight of the story with grace and power.

A special standing ovation goes to Adam Santa Cruz, who didn't just act but lived his role. His portrayal was raw, real, and profoundly moving. Not only did he shine as an actor, but knowing he also wrote and produced the drama adds another layer of admiration. It takes true talent and vision to wear so many hats and still create something so cohesive and powerful. Credit must also go to the direction, cinematography, and editing teams. The pacing was just right, the visuals were striking, and the soundtrack enhanced every mood. It's clear that Campus Rivals was made with heart, dedication, and a commitment to telling a story that matters.

Highly recommended to anyone who loves character-driven drama with real emotion and social relevance. This series will leave you thinking, feeling, and remembering.

Ok first of all to get all these vertical stars on one screen was superb and i challenge all verticals to do so.

Adam santa cruz is an awesome writer and wrote a great series and should be beyond proud of himself for this.

Eric and adam produced a great series and again should be proud of themselves for this series.

All the actors that came on board were awesome and it was enjoyable getting to see eric, jeff, jesse, adam etc all on one screen together and hope we can see more of this in the future. Loved the love triangle between xavier, chad and claire and who was going to win Claire's heart at the end. Eric brings xaviers vulnerability to light. This series was awesome, lighthearted, heartbreaking, all rolled into one.

The writing was excellent. The characters were layered and interesting. It was so nice not to see slaps, forced sex, humiliation, degradation of women and the usual ways verticals try to get clicks. Instead we got strong women, flawed nuanced men and lots of fun. The sets were very detailed and appropriate. The whole production led by Adam Santa Cruz and Eric Guilmette was top notch. This vertical is what you get when you have actors and directors who listen to the people who watch instead of the algorithms that push negative violent content. I will be watching this one again and again. Oh and I NEED a part 2! Please make more content like this.
