This is pretty much an EXACT REPLICA of a previously released vertical entitled 'CEO Wants My Little Rascal' starring Jarred Harper and Emily Gateley. My review panned the first one because of the stupid storyline and it offered nothing else to make it engaging.
The big difference in this remake is that Noah Fearnley and Mariah Moss make such a better suited lead couple, both in looks match and onscreen chemistry. This latter version has much of the same antagonistic conniving by the sister character, but this screenplay restrains the antagonism a bit and doesn't let those scenes run as long. But, the main improvement comes from Mariah Moss' acting and script interpretation. Moss, as she usually manages to do, carries her character with a class and strength that Ms. Gateley can't manage as well. That character difference goes a long way to making the incessant antagonism more tolerable. Secondly, Noah Fearnley comes across as a more sympathetic and less shrill version of the lead male character too. I felt much more invested in the lead's plot arc than in the first version.
I am surprised myself that the difference in lead actors made such a big difference in watching essentially the same story.

This review is for two separate audiences, hence the length of a Harry Potter novel.
Audience #1: Anyone who has ever sacrificed their mental health by sitting through a horribly made movie just to see a particular actor.
Audience #2: Everyone else in the world.
I'll start with Audience #2 since you are the majority.
Movies like this one are often referred to as "Drama Shorts," "Drama movie shorts," "mini series shorts," or something similar.
** Heads up, those "spicy, sensual" scenes are the extent of it. Other than the occasional F word, they're PG-13 at best.
All of the "drama short movies" are exceptionally unrealistic. Other than a slight difference in storylines, they have the same plot. Besides a few good lead actors, the acting is horrendous! Honestly, they look like a high school videography class project, and that's hard to stomach.
Due to the reasons above, this review is not only for this particular movie but also for all of the drama shorts. You can find others under "related movies."
NOW FOR AUDIENCE #1: My "I'll watch anything if they are in it" people.
The "unavailable, sexy man who chooses & defends you above all others" theme is kryptonite for many of us, but when you add the special ingredient, the lead actor, Noah Fearnley, you get a powerful potion. The kind that, despite all rationality and the usual repulsion for such horribly made films, makes it impossible to look away from the screen.
Noah's sarcasm, chiseled abs, beautiful blue eyes, and a smile that will liquify you into your couch cushions will make you crave more! In all of his movies, I've found myself saying, "why are you so beautiful?" at least 5-8 times within their hour and a half length.
Noah's unwavering desire to gain stardom by any means necessary, including starring in dozens of these drama shorts, is beginning to pay off. He has developed a rapidly growing fan base despite how horrible these movies are. All of which, including myself, have diligently advocated for him to get better roles.
I mean...movies on streaming apps and the big screen with this incredible man in them...Umm YES PLEASE...as many as possible!!
In conclusion, do with this never-ending review as you will, but trust me when I say...even if the quality of the movie makes you lose brain cells, Noah is, at the very least, worth watching once.

- They're the subscription-only "short reels" you might've seen on FB. You know, the cheesy ones that may or may not have piqued your interest, if for no other reason than their spicy, sensual content.
