It's a show that everyone should watch, especially when walking through the fog of hardship.
The story uses fate as its compass, guiding the characters through a winding path of events.
It reminds us that fate, more profound than blood, is like an invisible thread weaving lives together - and our journey is shaped not by certainty, but by choice.
Here, fate isn't a stroke of luck, but a sacred bond silently pulling two people toward each other.
As much as I hesitate to say it, this series might strike a deeper chord after you've walked through a few chapters of life yourself.
Though the storyline isn't particularly fast-moving, it's the kind of tale that rewards those who wait with patience.

Heaven is dull; and eventually, so is this show. While I did like it for the first 2/3's, l tolerated it until the end. First, however, let me say the leads were very good, and the female first lead was excellent (note: if you get to the end, you may like her plug). People wander around flower gardens, do Pilates and tossing balls like a parent throws to a 7 year old. Big whoop. The big TV show has all the suds of "Queen for a Day" (look it up). The plot mostly involves a meandering journey of soul purification, with the only spice coming from some dogs. There is a romantic triangle, but it resolves itself in the way you might expect would happen in heaven. If I were one of the Marx Brothers, I might seriously contemplate a more interesting eternity in hell.
The whole series is a really interesting idea, and had some great comedy moments, but they could feel a bit childish at times which detracted from the story.
The take on pets in heaven was very interesting and the early episodes had me in tears over this! Honestly, think the series is worth watching pruely for some of these early scenes.
But i don't think the series needed to be as long as it was, as dragged at times, and even though the acting is brilliant, i didn't enjoy the So-Mi storyline as much as i should have, felt they could have done this arc better.
Overall i recommend watching, nice chill series and i enjoyed it. Actors are great, they interact perfectly, and i've never wanted to eat real Korean food as much as i have watching this show.

I LOVED this show. It was so good that I logged into IMDb after years just to comment. It's just gets better with each episode. Although fictional, the story is amazing. Loved the strong bond between Nak-joon and Hae-sook - some of the scenes were so relatable to me and my husband - it just became our favourite show time. The side characters did an amazing job too, specially the dog scenes. I also loved the advices given by The President, they were thought provoking. Son Suk-Ku was perfect for the role - nobody could do a better job than him. I would love to see him in more such drama series..
I can't believe I'm saying this but the scripts by this screenwriter is the art of craftsmanship and integrity at its very best. All laughters and crying are intertwined with twist and turns of emotions. They are all interrelated based on past experiences of every character. The story unfolds slowly and meticulously leaving no doubts or questionable aspects of the characters. Also love how our pets go to heaven and become human whilst retaining their gestures, manners and characteristics. Always fun to see them around.
Thank you for such an uplifting sensation after watching. Love every plot of it ^_^
