Only reason I give this more than 1 star is for Kate Beckinsale. Aside from her terrible accent she is still stunning for 52.

But the only reason they break into her flat in London is because she left the key in the lock on the outside of her front door when Roman comes over hoping for a bootie call. Big faux-pas for a spec-ops agent. Happens to the best of us.

Sad. She is getting old, trying to be as tough as she was some 25 years ago. She is way beyond those years; the baby face is gone for good. Additionally, it's a low-budget British-directed project, which suffers as a result. Weird, as I watched it yesterday, I can barely recall what happened. I had to watch the trailer to remind me. And her voice: like a smoke-to-death, constant whiskey drinker heavyweight. Deeply disillusioning. Avoid this one if you have fond memories of Kate.

Old used up story, watched because of the actress. She has changed herself (for the worse) & the movie was more "English" in the storyline & quality. Huge disappointment with way around. Very predictable & tired. Kate needs to stick to what she's good at & stop trying to modify her looks. Far too many flashbacks & jump forwards throughout trying to build substance but it's simply unwatchable by 30 minutes in.

I abandoned this after ten minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

This is the most generic London gangst script and had as much dramatic and emotional grip as a greasy wet fish.

Despite the presence of a great cast they appear to have been given mush to chew on.

As I didn't bother more than the first scenes I can't comment on whether there's anything better in there. If the first scenes don't hold you then nothing will, and this had nothing unique.

Characters were your typical London generic ones straight of the second hand stock cupboard, the cold nasty little old lady gangster versus the grizzled, foul-mouthed old git, plus the standard generic newcomers, blah-blah-blah.

Of course these ideas can work, if you get the style and the threads of the story right, look at Mobland for example, but it takes a special touch to your short and curlies to yank your attention, and this hasn't got it.

Go find something else, anything else before it has you crying at how you found yourself watching this mush.

Oh boy - remember the days when Kate Beckinsale was gorge and boasted such blockbusters as 'Pearl Harbor', 'The Aviator', 'Van Helsing' and the pretty decent 'Underworld' franchise on her resume!?... well those heady days look to be long gone, with cringey-Kate now starring in a string of B-movie duds and sporting a trout-pout, spaghetti legs and more corny lines than WWE.

This latest debacle could be her worst yet - it's like an X-rated episode of Eastenders (Brit soap) as Kate kicks, shoots and swears her way through the seedy London underworld trying to get her kidnapped daughter back from various cookie-cutter gangster types.

The supporting cast (including a miscast Charles Dance) are all throwaway, cartoonish 'Landon' muppets , the action is cliched and predictable while the lacklustre script has more holes than a cheap string vest. It's so bad!

While I know Kate has had a rough go of it over the past few years, that's really no excuse to throw your career away on dross like this. Get yourself a new agent, demand some decent scripts and lose the plastic surgeon... you and we deserve so much better. 'Know wot i mean Gal'... ta ta.
