Worst Acting Ever

This is by far the worst acting ever. The girl with the short blonde hair is one of the worst actors I have seen. I was more annoyed with her and her bad acting than I was in the movie. Couldn't even finish watching it.

Fake Reviews and a Bad Movie

Dumb poorly constructed found footage / grindhouse wanna be.

It's just not good.

Ignore the fake written reviews that are by friends of the bad filmmaker.

There are better movies just like this one

I was disappointed with this movie. It does have more of an actual found footage feel to it based on the camerawork, but the acting is poor. I understand that most of the movie is improvised by the actors, but they do so in a very stilted and unrealistic way. The supernatural effects are also unconvincing.

The ending was easy to predict and, as a result, was unsatisfying. It wasn't terrible and I don't regret taking the time to watch it, but there are a lot of better movies in this category.

Found Footage that really freaked me out

Disclosure: I am not a fan of this genre of horror movie. I was burned out on it before it even started. But as a fan of the director and production studio I gave it a shot. I was actually kind of impressed. The teen actors did a bang job on this and it sucked me right in. After watching it twice, I noticed even more clues and things happening all through the film. It wasn't perfect, but it was well done and very creepy at times. It raised the hair on my arms a few times and even put a chill down my back once. Good job and recommended.

Spirits by Todd Sheets review

Spirits will throw you off just like it did for the unscripted actors. No one knew the plan or the path this movie would take because it is completely unscripted and unexpected. Everything you see in this full length feature film is just as terrifying for the actors as it is for the audience. Yes, the actors had a general idea of what their role was but they never knew what was going to scare them to death and this is where director producer Todd Sheets' genius and background in large scale haunted house development comes into play. Says DIY News, "It was like running through a haunted house. It lulls you into a feeling of safety then jumps out and Kills you!"
