Lots too like here.

The basic idea is pretty good that South Africa is like everywhere else, a nuclear wasteland with its inhabitants forced to scavenge or steal for whatever they need.

On the bad side, The girl that cannot speak was a nice touch but didn't really go anywhere. The special powers where never satisfactorily explained and the plot got a little tedious with the escape/recapture thing happening time and again. Why was the bow hardly ever fired, especially in the capture scenes.

The female lead was wonderful. The rest of the cast was adequate although reduced to caricatures as not enough back story was given. Indeed , most of the plot seemed to strung out which is odd considering the short runtime.

A little repetitive but the thing that bugged me was the fact that this is occurring 7 years after total nuclear war and the characters are dressed in clean presentable clothes, and look like they have been getting three square meals a day. Doesn't jive with an apocalypse where almost every human is dead.

This film has a beautiful love story and the young cast had wonderful chemistry. The lead girl is ethereal and did an incredible job. She was a highlight for me in this film and very mush looking forward to see her in other productions. I enjoyed this mixture of Post-apocalyptic with faithful views. This is a fun film for a young adult crowd. There were a few twists that came as a surprise. This is an indie film and I am someone who enjoys independent films. I enjoy the rawness of it and the pure art of it. Perfectly imperfect and something different. Not everyone's cup of tea, but if you are an indie film watcher like me, then give it a watch.
