The Furchester Hotel

Apparently, this is a British program straight out of The Jim Henson Company about a family-owned hotel. Elmo and Cookie Monster are notably featured and Furchester Hotel is more of a spinoff or even a standalone of Sesame Street than anything else. It's tame and harmless, as well as funny and touching. It's a simple show with a simple premise. Your kids (and maybe even you) might get a kick out of it.

The Furchester Hotel was my favourite show as a small child, and I was very happy to see that Cbeebies still have the show on iplayer and do re-runs so that kids these days can enjoy it too.

It is a spin-off show of Sesame Street and features characters created by Jim Henson, legendary Oscar nominated film director and creator of many characters on The Muppets.

The Furchester Hotel has very catchy songs as a little child I have very fond memories of singing them.

It is likely young kids will find the show funny, as it has lots of comedic parts.

It follows Sesame Street characters running a hotel in which lots of mishaps take place.

I have great memories of watching this show as a young child and I would recommend it if you have young kids.
