On the one hand, it's open to interpretation, on the other, it's quite clear. DABDA is laid out like a charm. Although critics suggest it's about Generation Z, it's actually about all generations. I was worried towards the end that the director had run out of ideas for the ending, but he pulled it off. The only thing I missed was more development/dialogue (which the film handled perfectly at the beginning) when our four protagonists were already in a bind.
This script could easily be performed in a theater as an hour-long performance, so that's a plus.
Congratulations on such a debut.

Without giving anything away... I kept waiting for a resolution, an answer and Im not sure if I got one.
Competent acting. Interesting premise, certainly not amateurish...
It just stops.
Now, Im sure someone will read some deeper meaning into this movie. And when one is forced to go behind the context of a movie anyone can see whatever they imagine.
But IMHO, there needs to be more of a resolution else, the writers are just taking shortcuts, or worse, not completing the story.
4/10 because it was at least well done and semi interesting. Not recommended.

This movie is quite a bit better than the 1 star reviews here indicate. That said, I get it. It's billed as a horror movie, and traditional horror movie fans aren't looking for a clever take on existentialist Jean Paul Sartre's 1944 play "No Exit" (famous for the line "hell is other people"). So be warned, the movie is philosophical, maybe a bit pretentious.
But it is, in fact, a good and clever modern take on the classic play. I'm not a big fan of Sartre, or existentialism, but I enjoyed this modern update. It's feels like a micro-budget effort, but I found the actors convincing and effective. There are a couple of jump scares in the beginning, but that's really all there is, in terms of horror. It keeps you guessing for a while, but after the midway point, it's really just some contemporary riffing on existentialist themes.

It strongly promotes the idea that our lives lack any greater purpose; we're simply drifting through space and time on a small rock called Earth, just like grains of sand lost in a vast universe.
We're caught in a repetitive cycle, unable to break free. And in our quest to find meaning, we create motivational stories that inspire us to achieve something "extraordinary."
Yet, when we consider the countless galaxies and stars around us, our lives and the purposes we chase so relentlessly seem utterly insignificant; barely making a ripple in the ocean of existence.
This is the idea of nihilism taken to an extreme.
The real issue of the film, however, lies in the lacklustre execution that fails to inject any real energy or enthusiasm into the tale.
What began as a series of silly yet engaging conversations gradually devolved into a dull experience, devoid of excitement or emotional depth. It feels as if a short film has been unnecessarily stretched into a feature-length production.
I can't help but think this tediousness was a deliberate choice, designed to make the audience feel as stuck as the characters themselves.
Sadly, this artistic decision didn't lead to any meaningful payoff by the end.

It's a shame that this film is a disaster from every point of view, even from the cover it looks like a trip to the countryside with friends, there's nothing horror about it, can we talk about psychological horror? No because apart from 3/4 interesting dialogues which in a certain way manage to immerse you in the drama that these guys are experiencing for the rest of the film i.e. For 125 minutes there are only useless and repetitive dialogues which serve no purpose they are completely empty dialogues, a fundamental thing in a film like this is the atmosphere which together with the dialogues should have immersed us in the climate of this film but here everything so superficial and devoid of depth is totally missing, the photography is totally absent!
