This season start big with the original plot line that is the game maker, this caracter and storyline come from the american version and is completle new, which for someone that watched the original show HPI make it interesting to watch again. Sadly, I hate long storyline and Im a fan of one off episode, so kinda cant wait for this game maker plot line to be over.
The Season 2 opener tries to reignite everything that made High Potential interesting (mystery, personal stakes) but ends up doing too little, too cautiously. 5.5/10
The episode leans heavily into threat and suspense, opening up Morgan's anxieties and setting high expectations, yet when it comes to delivering, it fumbles. Clues feel half-drawn, the central framing feels more confusing than clever, and the long-running storyline (Roman) are teased rather than advanced... and they couldn't even concluded the Game Maker storyline.
Kaitlin Olson remains the show's anchor; her emotional moments land, but even she can't completely compensate for a plot that plays it safe. There's enough intrigue to keep watching, especially if you want resolution, but this premiere underwhelms as a big return.

This episode is confusing as hell, and jumps around all over the place. I'm having trouble finishing it. If I hadn't enjoyed the show until now, I'd give up on watching. Two big disgusted "ughs" from me!
I feel like I've jumped into some sort of race without knowing the rules of the race or the location.
It's unfortunate, too, that this must have had a huge budget (so many "extras" for the party scenes and renting expensive venues), when I'd really like some clues and calm discussion of what the heck is going on. I don't feel part of the experience, which should be the fun part of every "detective" show.

I liked most of the first season and especially the concept. The show is very entertaining. I'm not sure if I missed something in the beginning of the first season that indicated why the girl dresses like she's going out on the town all the time, not that there's anything wrong with that. Two things that turn me off about murder mysteries/detective TV shows is when they run a single story over 2 or more episodes, like what's happening here, and when the male and female stars become romantically involved, which hasn't happened yet.
I have been waiting for this show to start again with the much-anticipated season 2.
I have loved the premise, characters of this top show High Potential.
Season 2 began with the continuation of the game player. I find this continuation of this particular storyline to be fascinating. The fact that this was not solved in the first show is excellent, and I love the suspense.
Looking forward to the next episode!!

- TriviaEpisode director James Roday Rodriguez previously starred in Psych (2006) as a special consultant to a grumpy detective and his team using observation skills, although his character pretended to be psychic.
- ErroresIn the US, if a piece of mail is delivered to the wrong address, it can be left in the mailbox with the red flag raised. The letter carrier will take it, lower the flag, and take the mail to the correct addressee eventually. Morgan would know this.
While the above is correct, one can also take the mail and deliver it to the correct address; this is quite common when the addressee is a near neighbor. Also, after being stuck at home for a week or more, Morgan could have wanted the walk to deliver the mail.
