Been to both parks multiple times. They are, indeed, iconic. Kevin Costner is a knowledgeable host, and while his 'isolation' in the wilderness is a bit contrived--hello camera and sound crew--if you're willing, as my dad used to say, suspense disbelief, it's a great intro to the history of these great parks. Especially if you can't visit. It's a wonderful virtual tour.

However, at the end of the series, they show a (really fast) collage of pics from other National Parks--all but one I recognize. However, in that collage Why didn't you include another old National Park in the West--Rocky Mountain National in Colorado?! Seems like an neglectful oversight, IMHCoO.

Beautifully filmed and told. Brilliant to let Kevin Costner bring his passion and personality to this docuseries.

I have visited Yosemite many times but never knew this story. I didn't know all the history. I learned a great deal

This series features the amazing sights of Yosemite. And shows the wildlife. The struggle of both is well explained and highlighted.

I appreciate the producers and director letting viewers show his true love of the outdoors and his passion for our national parks. He was delightful.

Based on this series my family has planned to visit Yosemite this summer. A repeat visit for me but a first for my grandsons.
