Great series all the way until the end. Too much left unresolved. Some of the storylines resolved horribly. Acting was good, which made it bare able in the end. I was left think, ok there should be 2 to 3 more episodes. Loved Park Bo-young and Choi Woo-shik. The way each Episode ended was kind of confusing with time flow. So watch all the way to credits or you'll miss something. The soundtrack was excellent and was another plus for the series. I really think Melo movie could do with a second season. So if you're looking for a short series that's just okay, this is it. It won't get you hooked on K-dramas, but it will help past a boring weekend.
The timeline on this is hard to follow, but it seems like the actors should be late 30s, almost 40, but they act more like late teens early 20s.
The premise was cute, but by episode three, I've lost interest and I keep checking how much time is left.
It's the same old same old misunderstanding type of rom-com that I've seen too many of.
It also feels more like an anime format than a movie.
Good for high schoolers, I guess, but at 60+, I'm out.
I always have a problem here with character limit. Everything is either too short or too long. Don't ask me why someone thought that was a good idea. Thank you for your patience.

After reading the 10/10 reviews I am left wondering if those who left the reviews watched the same movie or were friends and family since it wasn't my experience. I was really looking forward to this series and even though it started out slow, it kept my attention early on thinking... this is surely going to get better. Unfortunately, it slowed mostly towards the last few episodes and left me feeling depressed and bored wanting to skip sections. I found the acting wasn't the problem, it was the delivery of the story line and the lack of realism in the characters interactions. There is sections of just them getting on with work and life which was didn't really develop the relationships of the characters and it was very boring. Gyeom didn't speak about his family problems with Moobi as normal people would to promote understanding. Sijun walked all over Jooah to get what she wanted and he just acted like a depressed puppy and unrealistically he let her. Unfortunately I can't get my time back but I can without a doubt say that I regret not turning it off sooner. It just didn't improve. Maybe I'm just not into depressing, sad, slow shows but that's the only way I can describe it, all the way through. There is no feel good, no realistic character development and it's a shame since the story line could've been so much more. I would rather watch paint dry than watch this series again.
...in this series and steals every scene he's in, but his cuteness isn't all he offers as the second half gets deeper and he really gets to show off his acting chops.
If you're expecting something silly & lighthearted, you'll get that, but way more too, as there are explorations of loss, grief, depression, loneliness & vulnerability.
The series follows lovable Go Gyeom, (Woo-sik) a seemingly happy go lucky young man who can charm the birds from the trees, who falls for Kim Moo-bi, (Park Bo-young ) an aloof assistant director who carries the weight of the world on her shoulders, and who isn't willing to let love into her life for fear of being left.
Is Go Gyeom as carefree as he seems? Why is Kim Moo-bi as she is? The supporting cast are excellent as we delve into the family & friendship dynamics of the 2 main characters. I laughed & I cried, I cried quite a bit actually, but I found this series to be delightful & at the same time, thoughtful & meaningful. Shout out to the writer & director for pulling this off.
I absolutely recommend this.

There is always a problem with the dramas with no villain or any revenge story that they don't seem to be engaging easily as they have to had a really good story to engage audience. Melo Movie is a good drama with 10 episodes which deals with few problems of adulthood like making a living and being independent. It's modus of profession is Movie Industry. When you watch it from the starting it does seem to entertain a bit then you may find yourself fast forwarding it a little bit. The characters were good the actors did a excellent job especially Park bo Yong. She being a versatile actress did a great job in delivering the character and same could be said for Choi woo shik. If you ask me it was more of a coming of age drama rather than romance as it enlightens the relationship between parents and their children and siblings, it touches the the concept of depression related suicide attempts. Overall the drama characters is good but the story was not engaging ans was hefty to finish, you can watch it if your are fan of Park bo Yong aor Choi woo Shik.
