After leaving her love at the alter because she was told she had cancer, Charlotte has to try and piece her life back together, 3 years later a chance run in with her ex leads to an interesting turn of events.
What is supposed to be the happiest day of their lives is turned upside down when Charlotte Pope (Haley Evans) announces she is actually in love with Harry Brown (Troy Tripicchio), Charlottes Friend and leaving Declan Franco (Noah Fearnley) heartbroken at the alter. What Declan doesn't know is that Charlotte had been given a cancer diagnosis and was breaking up with him so he would be able to continue building his startup. 3 Years later, Charlotte is working at a bar and runs into Declan on accident, where Declan, who is now a successful businessman and very wealthy, just so happens to be, following what Charlotte hopes is a one night stand, Declan instructs his assistant, Enzo, to make her an offer she cannot refuse, ultimately becoming not only her boss but also her landlord. While they both try to avoid their feelings for one another, they, of course, rekindle their relationship - despite the efforts of not only a psycho ex boss and business partner! What entails is a hilarious series of events that will have you laughing until you have tears in your eyes.
Hayley Evans is bloody BRILLIANT as Charlotte Pope, her facial expressions and quick whit had me laughing literally out loud, this was the first series I had seen Hayley in and I became an instant fan, her acting abilities are outstanding and I cannot wait to see what else this girl can do!
Noah Fearnley, this is the funnnniessstt character Noah has played, is portrayal of Declan Franco was without a doubt in my mind, my favourite of all of his roles. As with Hayley, his facial expressions (one of which I have included in this post because it makes me laugh so hard), use of "hmm" and voice inflections are completely on point for this character and I hope to see more of Noah in roles like this! (Also, please tell me why the childs drawing was used to cover his naked body!!! - I laughed at this with Sam for about an hour)
From the moment I first watched this series, it became an instant favourite and I have rewatched and rewatched over and over again because each and every time I still end up laughing my head off, I hope you all love it as much as I do!
