Whoa-could this movie get any steamier? Holy moley! Leif Offerdahl and Mariah Moss together are absolute perfection. Their chemistry was so convincing that I could easily believe they were a real-life couple.
The story follows two college friends, Asher and Leanne, who reconnect after a string of failed relationships. What starts as a casual agreement to be "friends with benefits" soon turns into something deeper, even as they continue dating others. No matter what, they always find themselves back in each other's arms. Watching their bond grow through little pinky promises and playful friendship moments was both sweet and swoon-worthy.
Of course, every romance needs some conflict, and it comes in the form of a business partner's daughter-dangerously obsessed with Asher. Obsessed is an understatement; her unhinged energy added the perfect amount of drama. She was brilliantly played, making her a villain you love to hate.
The pacing and flow of this film were spot-on, leaning more toward a rom-com than a melodrama. There were no filler or fluff moments, just an engaging ride from start to finish. If anything, I would've loved for the movie to be longer, giving more time to see Asher and Leanne's relationship blossom.
Adorable, romantic, and just the right touch of crazy-this one is a rewatch for sure. I loved every second of the friendship and love story between Asher and Leanne. This will be a hit.
