Very funny show. Great format. The set looks incredible. Jimmy Carr is a fantastic host. He's got it all. He's at the top of his game. I respect him big time.
Other comedians are class too. Roisin Conaty is a great co host. She's engaging and warm and every time I laugh both her and Jimmy are cut to, and I see them laughing along with me and it feels good.
It's got some great quirks about it. The challenges are hilarious, the joker cards are a nice touch. It's amazing that it's not scripted because they are all so funny and they all seem genuine and to like each other and they all make each other laugh.
They all make me laugh too. It's rare for me, but I don't hate any of these contestants. I'm not really in to panel shows or that whole format, so I thought I would hate this but it's got a charm and uniqueness all of its own and I'm loving it.
It's the perfect antidote to those panel shows which I never liked that much. Because this is all freestyle and off the cuff it's interesting and all the more entertaining.
All in all very heartening to have such a great UK comedy show come to prime video. I can see this one lasting for a long time and I hope it's picked up in other countries.

I wasn't sure if I would like the concept, which has multiple versions from pretty much every country around the world, of comedians sat in a room, trying not to laugh. However, when those comedians are amongst the funniest people in the country right now, how could it not be great? Lou Sanders and Joe Wilkinson are, as always, highlights, but even though a couple of the guys aren't exactly my favourites, I wouldn't say there was any weak link. If you're a fan of some of these comedians then I'm sure you'll love the show, if you've never heard of most of them then then you probably won't. But that's kind of obvious, right?

If you're a fan of UK stand up and enjoy shows like Cats Does Countdown or Taskmaster this is absolutely for you.
I genuinely cried with laughter on episode two, I haven't laughed that hard in such a long time, hour later and I'm still smiling about it.
Weirdly I don't think you should binge it otherwise you're going to miss stuff. I shouldn't have gone straight to episode three after laughing so hard at the second one so I think I might go back and watch it again tomorrow before moving on to EP4.
Bravo to everyone involved, brilliant format and I'm going to be genuinely gutted when I've watched it all.

I thought it was a weird setup for a program, so I was a bit skeptical at first-only clicked play because so many comedians I like were in the lineup.
Sure, I get that this isn't for everyone. It's not the usual overproduced, slapstick-style comedy that some seem to prefer. Instead, it's just a bunch of interesting people with great chemistry (and I'm sure they're good friends in real life) simply having fun. And that's exactly what makes it so enjoyable to watch.
If you enjoy shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie to You?, or even QI, you'll definitely enjoy this one.
If only the great Sean Lock was still with us-he would have been perfect for this.

If you're a fan of British comedy, you will absolutely love this.
Bob Mortimer, Joe Lycett, Joe Wilkinson, Richard Ayoade, Sarah Pascoe, Daisy May Cooper, it goes on and on! A-class comedians just making each other laugh, it's brilliant. If you want some easy, unserious watching to let off steam after a long day, this show is ideal. There are no scripted bits (other than the joker segments), it's just funny people being spontaneously funny. The wit is incredibly sharp, from Rob Beckett especially.
I'm looking forward to more series, showing off the full calibre of comedians Britain has to offer.

I was skeptical about the premise of this, as improvisation comedy, on the face of it, is incredibly hard to do without being over the top. However, those familiar with 'Would I lie to you?' and 'IT Crowd' (and other British TV staples) would immediately know that these are some very talented comedians.
The whole show falls on whether these comedians have the ability to just be funny people in just everyday casual conversations, and they succeed with flying colours.
Moreover, the fact that the tension becomes more palpable every hour closer to the 6 hour time limit means that stakes naturally become higher and you see a lot of clever and amusing returns/quips; it is brilliant to see how comedians can receive a statement/joke and then immediately return it in such a inconceivably witty way.
Next season simply must have Lee Mack, David Mitchell and Rob Brydon. Also, Sean Lock (God bless his soul) would have been absolutely sensational at this.
Highly recommended.

Quick summary - one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.
I'm not a fan of Jimmy Carrs solo work, but when he's with others, it all falls into place.
I've tried watching other versions of this show, and they tend to not actually be particularly funny. Barely even a smile. This show however had me in stitches.
Seeing a range of comedians trying to make others laugh, and the others trying to stifle a laugh is a simple premise, and this selection of comedians absolutely nails it. I was unaware of a few of them, and now will keep an eye out for their tours as and when they tour.
I can't recommend this show enough.

5th time I've tried to review after I wrote a long and intricate review, but I've given up.
It's funny watch it...
10 comedians. One rule. Do not laugh. Jimmy Carr has assembled ten of the UK's funniest people in one room and set them the challenge of making each other laugh, without laughing themselves. Over the course of the series, they will try any means necessary to try and break their opponents...but can they do it all with a straight face?
Last One Laughing UK is available to watch on Prime Video. Prime Video is included with your prime membership. It's 8.99 a month or you can pay yearly.

I watched this show in 2 days over a drunk-enough weekend and I found it pretty finny given the 'conditions,. I think if every comedian was also really quite drunk then this would be more entertaining. Basically I think it's a good show for a group watch, but as a solo watch it's not quite the same. If - in this day and age - we could have comedian, drunk, doing their best at making us laugh, I think we would have a proper comedy show on our hands. It's a funny enough show but with the talent they had it does seem as though they under-utilised the talent they had at hand, especially given how close the UK comedy scene seems to be.

Im a huge fan of Jimmy Carr, he has hosted many amazing funny things, this might be the best one yet!
I honestly went out about 100 times during the 6 episodes, so very funny and stacked with talent, Its a must watch.
If your in the need for a proper belly laughing good time this is the show to watch.
I cant wait to see if theres a season 2 coming out, as we have seen from Taskmaster, there are so many funny people you can get out there, I feel like this could have the legs to run for a long time it they want it to!
Dont worry, when the comedians are out they dont go home, they go next do to laugh at everyone left! Seriously, its a must watch.

This show had me in stitches.
Unlike other versions I have seen from various countries, this version was a masterclass in the art of subtlety.
There was a good blend of comedians and some pretty big hitters in Bob, Richard, the two Joe's.
Jimmy really held the reins and kept the pace as host with the perfectly timed jokers to guest appearances and surprises.
The tension in the room from the moment the siren started the game was delectable. The way they all peeled off to regain composure set the tone for the following 6 hours.
The space was big enough (unlike the Australian version) that there could be multiple groups chattering at once which meant if the comedy gold wasn't unfolding in one corner it was likely in the other - leaving very few lulls in entertainment.
I truly hope they do another season soon, I'd love to see the likes of David Mitchell, Claudia Winkleman, Mickey Flanagan, Greg Davies and Romesh Ranganathan play the game.

This programme depends on your sense of humour, I watched the first episode out of curiosity, then the next, then the next.
It's a solid line up (except Daisy May who I find deeply unfunny and pulls the weirdest faces throughout (sorry Daisy May)) but Joe, Richard, Jimmy, Rob, Judy, Bob, Roisin, Sarah, Lou and Harriet. What's not to love.
Lou, Richard, Bob, Rob and Joe W are outstanding to watch as they come at it from different directions. You can also see that they find great humour in everything as simple conversations mean they walk away as they've thought of a joke or something funny to say.
Seeing great comedians trying not to be funny is funny especially if you're looking out for the twinkle in their eyes that shows just how fast and funny they are but aren't able to say the line for fear of making themself laugh.
I personally found it funny and very warm to see just how funny great comedians find other comedians (with the exception of Daisy May (sorry Daisy May)) It's not always crying laughter but it's a warmth that enjoyable, like Big Brother but with people you like (except Daisy May (sorry Daisy May)) and who are actually funny (except.......)

I went in knowing some of the comedians weren't my cup of tea... but boy was I wrong!
The first two episodes were a bit of a drag to get into- as they were trying to get to grips with the gameplay. However, from episode three onwards I was really enjoying myself. I decided to join in on the challenge and that was one of the reasons why I enjoyed it so much. Trying not to laugh at the simple, yet stupid- and somewhat childish- jokes they came out with is why this show was so funny.
I have always loved Joe Wilkinson and Richard Ayoade and they did not disappoint with their comedy, as well as the other comedians in this series.
It blended slapstick, improv, observational, absurdist, all the way to good old fashioned knock knock jokes. A good watch if you want to just enjoy comedians trying to rack their brains to get someone to laugh.
The joker challenges were amazing alongside the special guests they brought in... a really fun Friday night watch.

It shouldn't work but it does. Throw a bunch of comedians into a room that they basically can't leave, and the point is to try and make each other laugh. Two laughs and you're out. It's excruciating but hilarious.
You really do have to watch this show, you can't have it on in the background, it's all about the little nuances and the eye contact - or lack thereof - and excruciating body language and facial expressions
The UK version being considered the best proves we have the best comedians in the world. Can't wait for series 2, 3, 4, and 5, before the eventual fall-off happens around series 6, before davina mccall takes over presenting duties in series 7 and it moves to Channel 5.

This show is all about the comedians. If you don't like their comedy, you won't like this show. If you like their comedy you will love it. After all it's 6 hours of these comedians speaking to eachother and telling eachother jokes.
A BBC review said it's a shame it's mostly famous comedians, to the contrary this only works with known funny comedians. The fact some of them clearly know eachother well adds to the fun.
For me it has some of the best comedians in this country (and therefore the world).
I didn't laugh at every joke, or every set (there are comedy sets within it to make others laugh) but I belly laughed a respectable amount of times throughout the show, and you can't ask for more.

For me, it was a good laugh, a good mix of comedians I already like, and the format of the show was okay. I could watch Bob Mortimer and Richard Ayoade all week. But coming in at about 3 hours total is about right and doesn't overstay its welcome. It would have been a shocker if they couldn't get any laughs out of me considering how many comedians they threw in a room, but that does make me feel like they wasted opportunities and it should have been even funnier. There were quite a few cringe and deathly unfunny moments, but that's bound to happen in an experimental environment, and in a roundabout way, they became funny. Jimmy Carr was totally wasted as host here, and all the comedians who end up in the back room produced no laughs once knocked out. If they do a second season, they have to fix that side of the show.

I am dumbfounded by those saying that this is funny, let alone the funniest thing they've seen on television.
I like the concept and had high hopes as Jimmy Carr walked through the set, but the contestants just did not deliver. The most promising prospect was Bob Mortimer, an absolute legend on 'Would I Lie To You' ...so where were the funny stories? The rest were just dire, not least of all, the one-trick pony Richard Ayoade whose act is just so tired.
The worst part though was the sycophantic praise the contestants gave to each other, in the absence of any comedic brilliance.
Disappointing.

Oh my God; I laughed until it genuinely hurt. I won't spoil anything, just sit down, don't eat and not even a giggle please. Some of my favourite comedians in what appears to be their natural habitat, shrubbery or favourite haunting.
Great show, I'm here for the series. Buckle up.
So, this is hardly Twitter I apparently have for 265 more characters when I have nothing to say. Why IMDB should I bother, nobody will read this, care about this... I mean some will obvious find grammar issues and complain to 3 or 4 com.enting governing bodies... but let's be honest anyone talking to a body needs help.

This show is hilarious and I live in the States.
Typical British self-deprecating humor but cranked up to 11. The best thing about this show is that they laugh at themselves as much as they laugh with each other. Not mean spirited at all and they really seem to enjoy each other's brand of humor; from erudite to cheeky it's all in good fun!
The comedians age from 25 to 65 so there's something funny for everybody.
Turn on the captions because you'll hear 15 different accents none of which you'll understand. Queens English to Scouse and throw in some Scottish and Irish accents for good measure.
Bob's yer Uncle and enjoy!

Absolutely hilarious.
Yes,ok, maybe the hilarity depends on your relevance/relativity to the comics in the series but as someone who grew up with the first generation of 8 out of 10 cats I find this program genius.
The addition of Joe and Richard, this shows that even the most straight face comics facades must crac at some point.
I've seen many a comic live - Jimmy Carr, Lee Evens, Micheal McIntyre...but I've not laughed/belly laughed/cried as much as I did watching the first few episodes of this programme.
Whats more funny than brilliant comics trying to make other brilliant comics laugh?!?!
Actual tears were rolling down from my eyes, which was a new experience for me!
Genius.

Just watched Last One Laughing for the first time and I'm completely hooked. I didn't know most of the comedians or catch all the references, but it didn't matter at all.
The chaos, the absurd challenges, the timing-everything was just so on point.
One of the best parts was watching Richard. Everyone kept targeting him and his self-control was insane-it somehow made things even funnier. I also loved Lou, such a fun presence. And honestly, getting introduced to British comedians was a treat. Their quirks, their laughs, the wild games, even the special guests-it was all gold. I laughed way too hard and binge-watched the entire season.
