Hombre vs. Bebé

Rowan Atkinson remains undeniably charming, delivering a very gentle brand of comedy here. However, it feels like Netflix is increasingly sacrificing quality for quantity. While the show managed to elicit a few chuckles, the storyline was incredibly thin. Ultimately, my enjoyment was rooted almost entirely in nostalgia rather than the plot.

Pleasant surprise when this show dropped as a follow up to Man v Bee.... I have always enjoyed Rowan Atkinson's work and this is no different. 4 short episodes is short but also sweet and this show may be more accessible to those who do not like "Mr Bean" because it is less over the top but remains in the same vein.

Good Comedy tv series from the British with no CGI. An easy watch comedy done the British way cause sometime CGI and dark tv shows , comic movies get boring, way too much of that. We don't get enough of this style of comedy nowadays and we get too little of Rowan Atkinson in international tv series and movies . He's just a pleasure to watch on screen. This is not ur typical American comedy remember that , it's British comedy and it's a nice change from all the American stuff we get. Comedy from directors & actors around the world do not have to always be what Americans like it to be. British tv series , and comedies usually always does well internationally that is why l Netflix has a strong business relationship with them. This is a light fun enjoyable watch.

Obviously (like me), these are Americans that are having such a negative reaction to Rowan's particular style of comedy ( notice I did not put comedy in quotes, lol) (because obviously it's legitimate comedy, and that's the point) but it IS comedy and it's also a sweet holiday message - look, I take your point but real talk, just turn it off if your not enjoying it? Right?

Yes it's predictable, yes it's absurd, yes you have to suspend disbelief and no it's not as good as man vs bee. But it's still a good Christmas film for all members of the family especially the nippers.

CGI on the baby is a bit wonky, but you can get past that and just enjoy the hijinks. I'll admit I did get angry at 1 point because of obvious and annoying decisions Trevor makes, but I think everything else makes up for it.

Defo stick with it until the end.
