No family, no fun

I found the program boring, lacking energy. Thinking about it later, his mother died, his girlfriend split, and Frankie is a young adult and out on his own. He's got nothing left to talk about except Martin(e). He said he wanted to keep it light and funny and then proceeded to beat the audience (and poor Dustin) over the head for 90 minutes with PC BS. Note the final riff on how he learned so much by being shamed and how good it is to be shamed, and then compare that to his beginning story about a McD's manager shaming him on word usage. I sighest. Fluffy and Chapelle need to sit down and compare notes on what the world needs now.

Decent with some good moments

Fluffy has less flair than usual here wirh a nostalgic take and lots of talking. A few of the jokes are hilarious and some voice imitations on point but many are neutral, flat or predictable. Still, the charisma and craft is there. The writing could have simply been better and tighter.

A bit too much about the past or jokes too specific to Florida. The best part is the long house robbery and gun salesman with a few oyher highlights and laughs.

The advice about being grateful to simply be alivr is well placed although the reat is hardly happiness therapy. Some commenters complain it is too much of a Ted Talk and he mentions it in the show. I have nothing against Ted Talks and some are even quit funny, entertaining and informative. The problem here is that amazing comedians or comedic routine would make these points with humour and also mostly better punchlines.

The show also did not end on a high point and could have given more or be better edited. Still worth a watch for aome laughs.

Fluffy At it Again!

Ever since ~2010, it seems like Fluffy hit his peak and has been riding that success ever since. His newer specials don't really seem that funny. But for some reason I keep finding myself watching each new one he comes out with.

Say what you will about Fluffy's newer material... it's not as funny, there aren't as many sound effects, there aren't really any jokes that you take with you after the special. But the guy is just such a damn good storyteller that you keep coming back for more!

Fluffy has you on the edge of a seat this entire special. It's truly amazing to be apart of! You know what he's telling you isn't going to be that amazing, but he finds a way with every story he tells you to make it engaging and worthwhile - to keep you paying attention the entire time. It's captivating. It's mesmerizing. It's truly something to behold.

If you're looking for a great comedian, watch his older material... if you're looking for one of the greatest storytellers of our generation, you've got it right here!

Great Iglesias

If you're looking for almost an hour and forty minutes of nonstop laughing, then you're on the right place. Just ignore the Gen Z/Alpha crybabies who probably got offended. This show was hilarious! My wife and I have been watching Iglesias since long before Netflix started streaming and we have never laughed so hard! Iglesias sold out the show in person and you can hear how happy the crowd is and how hard they are laughing! Many, many times the crowd started laughing when Iglesias wasn't expecting them to and he had to wait. So I don't know why some of the crybaby Gen Z/Alpha are saying the laughs are delayed. Probably were too busy crying to their mommies about how offensive it was and couldn't hear everyone else laughing.

The old Fluffy is gone!

I don't know if you remember the energy and happiness Fluffy used to spread by performing a decade ago. How he could imitate high pitched voices and describle hilarious situations with his perfect storytelling skills. I don't see that guy anymore! He used to be really funny and this... is not funny at all. In this special, people cheer and laugh at every unrelatable sentence which makes it annoying at some point. The performance is without any soul and feels just like an old guy telling his boring memories in a bar. My take might be due to the sake of nostalgia but I have a feeling that fluffy went through so much and couldn't recover from it.

Legend of Fluffy

Gabriel Iglesias is just a phenomenal comedian. One of the things I enjoy the most about his is frankly his style. He is very down to Earth, and does not mind poking fun at himself in the process. I really enjoy that part about him. This film takes place at a newly built casino and it just shows the success that he has made as a comedian over the past 20 years. The humor is great and honestly all over the place. From guns, to Americans crossing the Boarder for a comedy show, to many more jokes about society and wbats going on , this is a great show from a great comedian. I would recommend if you haven't seen this yet.

Another Gen X Ted Talk; NOT Comedy Tho!

This show is all about him patting himself on the back. The first 20 minutes has a total of 1 joke in it. There are rounds of polite applause from the audience 👏, but only in the way a congregation is friendly to their preacher.

If you LOVE funny stuff, this is NOT it. He first wants you to be in awe that he has been a comedian for 27 years. Then he actually asks the audience how many people at his show had never heard of him before? He counts and says, "oh, about 5 people". In short, this stand up special is all about him indulging his own ego.

It is painful. You keep waiting for the jokes, but they just don't come. He's basically a confident public speaker 📢 with nothing to really say, unless you include old throw reasons to compel applause like: 1. Back in the day we respected our elders!

2. Love being here in Miami-Dade (even though the HardRock here is in Broward County and that's Ft. Lauderdale)

He is doing the Kevin James, Katt Williams stuff where they USED to be very funny. Now they just want to preach to you about things that we all generally know about. No prep. No new jokes. Nothing clever. Just give me the microphone, I can just work the room and make people feel good. But that's NOT funny. Don't tell us what you've done, in order to make a new dollar, how about earning your dollars today by shoeing up with new material and telling jokes!! 🤔

It is a TOTAL money grab. He said he isn't the kind of comedian to get political. Then his first joke is taking a poke at the while pronoun identification issue him/them she/they. And just like a typical Gen X'er, it wasn't funny. It wasn't shameful or offensive. It was just cringy because he first said that he wouldn't, THEN it wasn't that funny.

Long talking set ups to jokes with almost no pay off. So the audience politely claps 👏 and once again, he thinks 🤔 in his own mind that he was brilliant. Everyone at that show should have gotten a refund. Terrible.

Comedians shouldn't wing it. Rehearse, write new stuff, and be better than this!

He did it again!

Gabriel Iglesias' Legend of Fluffy is another solid entry in his comedy repertoire. The show is full of his signature storytelling, hilarious impressions, and perfectly timed sound effects that fans love. His stories about dating disasters, unexpected home break-ins, and turbulent flights had me cracking up, especially the way he adds his unique flair to even the simplest situations. What stands out is how he balances humor with heart, making you feel like you're sharing a laugh with an old friend. While some jokes dragged a bit, most of the material was fresh and engaging. It's not groundbreaking, but it's classic Fluffy-light, funny, and uplifting. Definitely worth a watch if you need a good laugh!

Miss the old fluffy

Gabriel Iglesias used to make me laugh like no other. His first special I've watched time and time again and I could still laugh so hard. I'm crying. The last few specials are so pandering and lame that this one I barely got through. The jokes are old, the setup goes nowhere. He rambles on and on and has all these inspirational things to say, but nothing is laugh worthy. He reminds me of the washed up comedians you see In Vegas you can see for $25 and a drink you have to buy. This special was that bad. Super nice guy, and I still like him, but either get it together or retire. Don't go out like this.

Too cautious?

I don't know, man - bring the old Fluffy back! Where's the energy, the pacing, sounds, voices, the "adventurous" stories?

This show is very slow, basically it's like 4 topics/stories in 85 minutes. Plus, the content is very cautious, too correct, too apologetic. I did not expect anything offensive, risky or anything in ie. RickyG or JimmyC style, however this was totally .. sterile. Totally. No own opinion or statement, just cautious maneuvering in wording, situations, stories.

As much as I love Fluffy for his shows up to One show fits all, which I watched several times and recommended to everyone aroud me, this one and the last one (Stadium Fluffy) seem as if he's lost his drive and spark. I cannot put my finger on anything specific but it's just differrent. Not that funny. Like racing your car while following all the traffic rules to the point.

Also, the audience clapping and laughter seems a bit off and I was checking the footage if people are really laughing or clapping. Because I couldn't match the content with the reaction.

So.. I still like and respect Gabriel, I will just stick with his older shows, though.

Comedy special or a Ted Talk?

I literally made an account just to talk about how much this sucked. The constant talk about politics is just TERRIBLE and shows he's ran out of original material, I can appreciate comedians using politics in their set when it's actually funny but literally none of his jokes land for me, it's all recycled material you see from any grifter on social media. Also the over editing is ABYSMAL, constant cuts make this damn near nauseating to watch and it always sounds like they have a "LAUGH" sign above the stage that lights up, but even then it sounds like nobody laughed so they had to edit in audio of them laughing. I can not believe this man is making jokes about the vaccine in the year 2025, so much PC bs that gets so tiring it feels as if that's all his specials are now. Constantly talking about people getting "offended" and "offensive" this and "offensive" that and "cancel" this and "cancel" that. He also keeps going on lectures that feel sooooooo forced.

"Kids dont know about respect these years!" *edited in crowd noise of people clapping 30 seconds after he made said statement* "Haha Cancel Culture amiright?" *crowd clapping like drones*

Just a flat out lifeless, unorganic, unfunny comedy set, and you hate to see it from a comedian like Gabriel Iglesias! Hopefully his next special is actually funny and not Gen X nonsensical bs.

Could have been better.

This is NOT the typical Fluffy comedy show. Wasn't a lot of jokes. Just him standing there and talking about various different things that really weren't all that funny.

I get it, he needs to come up with more stuff every time he makes a new show. This was more of a "Story time with Fluffy" instead of the usual "Comedy Hour with Fluffy".

Normally when I watch his shows, I am glued to the screen wanting to hear more. With this, I really just sat here with his show in the background playing as I played on my phone and looked at Facebook. There wasn't anything that really captured my attention.

I hope that he comes out with better shows that this one. He IS and will ALWAYS be one of my favorite comedians that I watch. Sadly though, this one didn't "cut the cake".

Glad he has moved on in his life, but in reality, if I was to go to a show and this was what he presented to me...I wouldn't have been happy with it.

Please do better Fluffy.

This was definitely in Florida

Floridians made this funny. By that I mean, in any educated state, this would've got no laughs, like the viewing party here in California. Other than commentating an uneducated mass opinion, this show isn't much of a stand up comedy. In the words of Gabriel's funniest call back this show, he was very much unfunny, without comedy, lacking in the comedic department if you will be so Politically correct. Commenting on the unseriousness you believe to be policial correctness is to abide by the trump supporters in the area you're presenting. That being said. Anyone promoting that fascist propaganda, deserves no light of attention from those us trying to make the world a more inclusive space.

My first special that i see of him

... and i found it pretty boring. It lives on sympathy alone, he's cute and fluffy and manages to talk most about the past. And that bothered me: he was constantly referencing his long career, how he's so successful, bla bla bla ... "thanks to this person, and the other" ... i think i laughed maybe three times in the whole show.

I also found it to be predictable and stale.

At the end he even got into what i find so bad about Chris Rock, which is all the racial jokes, but done in a very boring and unoriginal way.

Originally i wanted to see his other specials, but i'll skip this comedian, i just think he's a talker and not my type o guy. Sorry fluffy!

Just do the funny

Oh gosh, why do comedians need to lecture? Fluffy was good but this was just boring. Why do comedians think they need to lecture people? Just shut up and do the show. No one came here to hear you yap yap yap. Comedians loose it as they grow old I guess. The elections are over and u don't need to switch sides now. You lost and the other side won so stop sucking up. Just because you are in Florida you think you need to play to the audience? Shut up and do comedy dude. No one wants to hear this nonsense. Got so sick of listening to him that I had to stop the video after a few mins. Just make people laugh or go home and enjoy the money you made. Don't bore ppl..

Terrible

"I don't do political commentary" proceeds to do very lame and unfunny political commentary mixed with self praise. This was definitely in Florida (but not even that audience was laughing). Long winded stories with no punch lines. Just ego ego ego. I couldn't even finish it I was bored to tears. I can't believe no editor decided to cut that short. A feature length special? Sorry, but time is precious. It's about time he retired. With all that money and time and he can't come up with interesting material? Plus, you could see that some of stories he told never ever happened (like the McDonald's one). Old tired comedy with the same little voices, etc. Hard pass.

Fluffy, man, I just wanted to escape

Went to see Fluffy earlier this year. I feared that this special was the same show I saw; and it was. Depressing.

Man, I come to a show to escape. I watch comedy specials to escape. And Fluffy used to help me escape. Not with his current material.

He starts off with stating he's not going to get political....then proceeds to hit political hot buttons THAT WE ALL WOULD LIKE TO ESCAPE FROM regardless of whatever side you find yourself: vaccines, pronouns, cancel culture, pc language, firearms

Now Fluffy might not think he's being political because he's not (in his mind) advocating for one side completely but DAMN Fluffy; you didn't think an audience of hundreds of people would politicize THOSE TOPICS by what they cheered and jeered for?

At the show I attended, with this same material; I had to endure a Midwest Johnny-Red-Wannabe whooping and cheering ever time Fluffy mentioned firearms FOR A HALF AN HOUR. It was exactly the opposite experience of what I spent my hard earned money to experience. Growing up with firearms, I may have agreed with this guy on a number of issues BUT THATS NOT WHY I WATCH COMEDY, especially Fluffy's comedy.

The rest of his special & live act is filled with self-reflection that I'm glad Fluffy has worked through BUT, Fluffy, please do it on your time not when I pay money to watch you live or on a Netflix special.

Someone compared this to a Ted talk and I couldn't agree more.

I was disappointed in his live show and this special to a degree I didn't think I would with Fluffy.

The special is no so special

The show was mostly about him giving a long story about him, and just mentioning over an over again how he has been a comedian for a long time! The jokes were not so very funny. I tried to catch myself laughing, but that only happened when he said the joke about the old couples!

If you watched any of his earlier shows you'll know how funny he was back then! I've seen over 5 of his shows, and they were super hilarious, cracking joke after another, where you need to catch your breath sometimes .. but not this one!

The cherry on the top was that there was no end joke that would take you back to the top of the first joke he told! Ooh wait, there was no first joke!

Good for an american audience

When I saw he had a new special out I cheered ! But seeing this I god gradually more and more bored. It's clear it's still Fluffy.... But he's like more people stated; Politically Correct.

It's also very clear that this special was filmed in america for an american audience for americans in USA.

The ones who saw it with me had the same views as me. It's just 80% pandering to the audience

The show barely has any jokes in it! He talks about life, about growing up, about becoming a comedian, in fact he lists that he's been in the buisness for 27 years 4-5 times. He says "thank you" a million times, and he thanks the audience for anything and everything all the time.

For anyone outside of the states I don't think this is worth the watch, and that's a bit sad to me.

It's Fluffy...

Always have loved Fluffy! Grew up watching his shows. His specials were comfort during bad days. A great way to get a laugh going. But this special just didn't hit right. Don't know if he played it deliberately because of the state he was in and "when" but unfortunately you cannot claim you won't get political then tell a story or two or three that are political-adjacent. Political is all-encompassing (this includes culture, not just politics). Don't know if he pandered these for the specific audience in Florida, but to the rest of us watching...it didn't land well. Had to turn it off because I wanted comfort laughs. Not political-adjacent commentary.

Hopefully he finds new material that is more inclusive and sticks with this statements. You can tell stories, make them funny, and not use any political-adjacent issues.

Booooring. The good ol' Fluffy is gone.

I did not laugh once. It was all just talking. Did the audience pay to see a TED talker or a comedian? Did they go there to laugh or to hear a guy talk about various uninteresting stuff in an unfunny way and massage his ego?

The show lacked energy. It is possible that loneliness brings people down and they do not feel as enthusiastic about what they do no matter what they say. I do not know what happened between him and his girlfriend but I hope they figure it out and get back together so Fluffy's spirit can be raised a bit again and Fluffy takes a second breath and starts writing interesting and funny stuff again as this was not it, unfortunately. Sadly, he is not the only comedian I've seen down on the low and it reflects in their material.
