About 18 minutes from the end, you get a view from the pilots seat in the helicopter. The problem is that the helicopter is turning, but all the instruments are showing the helicopter is parked on the ground.
The story takes place in Los Angeles, but the movie poster shows several Seattle buildings in the foreground, notably, 1201 3rd, the 2nd and Seneca Building, Rainier Tower, Russell Investments Center and the Henry M Jackson federal building. The buildings in the background appear to be a long shot of the Manhattan skyline.
The exterior shots of the USGS are actually of Pasadena City College, 1570 E. Colorado Bl., Pasadena, CA. Emily is seen entering PCC's Harbeson Hall.
First use of a Hackintosh that is seen in a movie. At around the 7:30 to 8 min mark, you see Dr. Gladstone using a Dell XPS laptop complete with Intel and Windows stickers on it, but it is clearly running Mac OS X 10.9.
