Im really happy to find a gl not just focused in drama. I feel excited with these series with mystery. I hope we get more types of gl likes this that keeps us guessing who the culprit is. Theres some awkward scenes tho in action. Its almost hard to watch. Their supporting character has more background than most gl series. I got a bit bored in some episodes until ep 6. My interest peaked and had to go back from episode one to look for clues from the characters and victims. Lastly i noticed it seems not i enjoy more interaction from support role. The romance doesnt seem that interesting here. Please keep improving !
Ok so my friend was talking about this great show of a detective and a doctor, and how thogther they solves an 18 years old murders case, finding the real criminal, so I said why not let's watch this, and boom I'm so impressed my first time watching a Thai series and I'm hooked, great show everything is perfect for the actress to the supert actors to the direction I have to give it a perfect 10. And i have to tell you the main couple in this series are amazing like the chemistry is a Top notch 👌 like there is something personal with the way their physical chemistry is showing 🙌 Tulran i love ❤ gays.

Petrichor is a fresh take on girl's love (gl) from Thailand. It focuses on the mystery aspect and tackles a lot of social issues such as corruption in the police force, powertripping, and even misogyny in the workplace.
But the beautiful thing about it is how empowered the female characters come across. They power through and rise above the occasion, no matter the difficulties they face. Even the cinematography and attention to detail is unmatched. Never a dull moment in each episode. Also, the leads have insane chemistry! I can't see anyone else bringing life to these characters aside from Engfa and Charlotte. It's so refreshing to see a healthy WLW relationship without the homophobia from their family members.
Acting + visuals + storyline + overall message = 10/10! Kudos to the Petrichor Team!

As someone who was genuinely excited about the series, especially being a fan of the original book, I have to say I walked away feeling a bit disappointed with the overall execution of the TV series adaptation.
Engfa Waraha did a great job with her role, her acting felt natural, emotive, and she carried her character with a sense of depth that really stood out. Her screen presence was strong, and it's clear she put effort into embodying the character. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about her co-lead. While there were moments when her acting was decent, for the most part, it felt quite stiff and lacked the emotional nuance needed to match Engfa's performance. The chemistry between the two leads, something that's crucial in a series like this, just didn't land for me. It felt mismatched, which made many key scenes fall flat emotionally.
That being said, I did enjoy the performances of several supporting actors. Naphat, Akarin, Ton Athiwad, and Na-Chatra were solid in their roles and added some much-needed energy and credibility to the show. Their presence helped balance things out a bit.
My main issue is that while the original book had emotional weight and strong storytelling, the series adaptation didn't quite capture that same magic. The execution, particularly the uneven acting, made it hard to fully immerse myself in the story. It's disappointing, because the potential was definitely there.
In the end, Petrichor The Series had its moments, mostly thanks to Engfa and a few standout supporting actors, but it didn't quite live up to what I had hoped for.
