Traffic is a social drama with a plethora of storylines, laced with elements of black comedy, satire, persiflage, and stereotyping. It might sound like a recipe for disaster, yet it all harmoniously blends together. Surprisingly, this complexity enhances the film's naturalism - after all, isn't life itself disjointed?

The cast is outstanding, with a particularly stellar performance by Anamaria Vartolomei. Even though the film isn't centered on inner conflict, a minute-long close-up of Natalia near the end quietly reveals how deeply we're shaped by our predicament.

Keep your eyes wide open: this film doesn't offer answers to the social issues it raises, but it makes you feel and understand them on a deeply profound level.

To be fair, I don't write IMDb reviews, almost never. I think this is my 3rd, whereas I gave 300+ scores.

I've seen hundreds of movies and definitely this one scores above 8.0 easily. I'd say it's as good as "Umbre"/"Shadows", different genders, topics and screenings, but I'd place this move that impactful.

I can only believe the xenophobes and colonialists gave 1-4 star anonymous reviews without a logical point.

Anyways, to the movie screening, the cuts were well made, soundtrack well selected for the message, as well character development was better than most junk movies nowadays. Moreover, I felt the emotions characters felt, I lived similar discrimination and could instantly live lots of emotions; it's relevant to me.

Actors are not known to me, but were really good in reproducing what is reality to many Romanians.

Didn't know it was based on a true story, I'm curious now to read of those people.

Movies are to express people feelings, and this one arose something within me, thus I believe it's worth 10 stars.
