The film starts with a gripping and realistic premise, drawing the audience into its world with well-crafted tension, grounded and funny storytelling.

However, as the plot progresses, it shifts into an overly dramatic and emotionally exaggerated narrative, losing the authenticity it initially established. The characters' decisions become less believable, and the emotional weight feels forced rather than earned. While the performances are commendable, the script leans too heavily on sentimentality, making the second half feel detached from the grounded realism of the first.
