I had the privilege of attending a private screening of Chiquita, An intriguing emotional journey with strong content and well written screenplay. Story revolves around protagonist and his emotions with spirituality and family bonding. The casting is very apt especially the person who played Charles role has lived his character. The way he portrayed the transformation of his life into spiritual journey is commendable. The BGM gives the life to the story narration and especially with the end song and perfectly blended with the VFX visuals is top notch. Camera and Editing department gave their best for the movie. Director has made the film engaging with proper design of characters and got the best work from all technicians. Overall, Chiquita is a spiritual cinematic journey with best filmmaking. Kudos to the director Trivikram and entire cast & crew!

I had the pleasure of watching Chiquita at a private screening. It is a well-executed film that kept me engaged from beginning to end. The movie incorporates all the essential elements: an interesting story, excellent direction and acting, innovative and beautiful cinematography, and a captivating musical score.

However, what truly sets this film apart is its sense of "transcendence." The main character, Charles, progresses through Maslow's hierarchy of needs, ultimately achieving self-actualization and becoming a transcendent figure. While rooted in a specific culture (writer Trivikram's bold choice of the biker culture is noteworthy), Charles rises above it, discovering his universal self.

Watching this film is like enjoying warm Gulab Jamun paired with vanilla ice cream. After indulging in this delectable combination, you find yourself reflecting on the magic of its flavors. Similarly, long after watching Chiquita, I continue to ponder its profound impact and uncover new insights into its brilliance. This is a unique and unforgettable movie-a must-watch.

Got to watch 'Chiquita' premiere. Nice watch with good performances from all artistes, good story line with lighting and BGM. Scenic Texas roads shown and looks like completely shot on country side. Especially the Charles character's journey has been shown in a nice way. Also, would want to congratulate all the technicians, music composer and especially the Associate Director Anand D, who is my school friend. Director has chosen a good story line to showcase the protagonist's rleationships and his interactions with Chiquita(dont want to throw spoiler to say who that is). With its rich character arcs, seamless integration of cultures, and emotional depth, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this film has the power to transform you.

Charles's transformation feels truly earned, as each relationship in his life serves a vital purpose in bringing him closer to self-realization. Freyja, the spirited young neighbor, reflects a mirror image of Charles's younger, untamed self, while his granddaughter brings innocence and curiosity that push him to confront and resolve his deepest conflicts. The moments with his daughter are particularly powerful,brimming with tenderness and unspoken understanding, showcasing the subtle brilliance of the writing.

The cinematography is striking, capturing every moment with precision and elevating the emotional resonance of the story. The music, especially the end credits track, ties everything together beautifully, leaving a lasting impression.

Chiquita is a cinematic gem and I sincerely hope it garners the international acclaim and awards it so richly deserves.
