A shocking murder takes place at a luxurious party, leaving everyone present in disbelief, but the identity of the perpetrator and victim remains unknown. Four witnesses in the police station recount the events that led to the crime.

While the police discovers the true nature of the cunning and manipulative Marta, the jealous Paula suspects that Toma is having an affair. Olga, who is unaware of the intrigue around her, awakens memories of the old neighborhood, which she now observes with nostalgia. At the same time, she reveals painful memories, a secret that marked her life. In the meantime, Simun tries to solve the financial problems that burden him in the company, while Ana, is faced with her own suspicions in her own husband, she discovers a potential affair, and all the clues lead to Marta's involvement.

While four friends are preparing to go to a party at Marta's house, the past seems to return and the events of that fateful day in 2004 are revealed. Namely, young Olga's world collapsed at the moment when her friends turned their backs on her and showed all their cruelty. As the present mixes with the past, Ana uncovers suspicious clues that lead to one of her friends and exposes her as Mato's mistress, leading to a dramatic confrontation.

At a lavish party, Marta and Olga argue about the opening of the swimming pool in the sports center, while Ana learns that the sweater she found in Mato's car doesn't belong to her friend after all. Olga runs into Simun's car, and the chemistry between them is getting more and more intense. Marta whispers to Paula about the relationship between Olga and Tomo, and Paula tells the real estate agent Tena that someone in the street is disturbing the whole neighborhood. by making a noise. Obviously disturbed Ana asks for Paula's advice regarding her husband.

Simun's problems at work are increasing, and his situation is not made any easier by Marta's brother Robert, who does not take his responsibilities in the company seriously. Simun has a panic attack, and Olga helps him. The two get closer and closer, but when Olga accidentally discovers a secret about Simun that changes everything. Ana is desperately trying to find evidence that Mate is cheating on her.

Marta shows up in Olga's office, secretly "leaving" a present for Olga, a necklace that Tomo once gave her. Ana discovers Mato's secret phone and finds the evidence of him cheating with Blanka. Marta manipulates Ana's birthday party by the pool. Ana is forced to pretend, up until she sees her husband's mistress walking in. Paula's jealousy reaches the new level, when she sees Tomo and Olga talking- she loses her cool and throws Olga into the pool, which leaves Marta gloating. The next day- Tomo seeks Olga, when Olga discovers a set up involving a necklace. Olga masters a revenge plan.

Blanka comes to Mate to confront him about the speech at Ana's birthday party. Olga concocts a plan to punish Marta for the prank with a necklace. Ana confronts Mate with a truth and tells him that she wants to separate peacefully and that they should both agree on a divorce and how they will divide the assets. Simun seeks Olga at home and stays for a dinner, which Marta is unaware of. Olga questions Edo about a perfect murder.

Olga calls Paula, Ana and Marta for a breakfast, they all try to comfort Ana because of the situation with Mato. Mato is moving out of the house. At the dinner party thrown by Marta, Paula, Marta, Simun and Tomo discuss on the situation with Ana and Mato, where Marta slips out that she has known about Mato's infidelity for years. Olga finally persuades Simun to see the doctor. In the company Simun orders all the computers to be confiscated in order to find a mole.

Blanka appears in Ana's house, threatening her. Simun pulls a plant from Marta's garden and gifts it to Olga. Marta is convinced that Olga had poisoned her with a pesticide and freaks out, during a panic attack, she goes to the hospital to save her life. The doctor convinces her that she has nothing to worry about, but realizes that Olga tried to scare her, anyway. She forms another manipulative plan, while Olga and Simun are growing more closer.

Olga and Simun spend an unforgettable day, and Olga starts to develop feelings for him, which scares her. At the same time, Simun misinterprets the encounter between Toma and Olga. Mato admits to his daughter Niki that he is divorcing Ana and puts all the blame on Ana. Intrigues multiply, but no one even aware about what Marta is ready to do to destroy Olga.

On the way to her house, Olga and Simun indulge their feelings. But still, scared because of what she feels for him, Olga decides it's better to avoid him. Blanka and Mato figure out how to turn Nika against Ana. Will the teenage girl discover what they are up to? Paula is confused and cannot understand what Marta intends to do about Olga. It soon becomes clear how far certain people are willing to go for their selfish reasons.

Although she avoided him, Olga enjoys her unexpected meeting with Simun. For the first time, she feels happy, but it is a short-lived moment because Marta puts her intention into action. Now, because of Marta's scheming, Olga is thinking what to do - stay, leave forever or take revenge.

Simun discovers the person behind the leak of information from the company, but he is in for a new surprise when he learns that another person is involved in the disclosure of confidential information. Ana is looking for justice, and her friends do not show the expected support. Unwanted secrets are revealed, all because of a plan to go camping. Blanka wants to force Marta to cooperate, but this can lead to disastrous consequences. Will the truth be revealed or will the web of lies become more and more tangled?

Olga returns and wants to settle scores with Marta, who shows no remorse. Realizing that there is no reason to stay in Zagreb, Olga decides to head for Split, but before leaving she wants to see Simun. Davorka does not give up on Olga's surgery and comes up with a plan to help. Will Ana reconcile with Mata for family reasons?

Although the charges against Olga have been dismissed, she does not plan to forget the injustice done to her so easily. She is determined to take revenge, so she invites her "friends" to a mysterious dinner. Meanwhile, Ana faces a painful breakup, while Blanka discovers who the real queen of the place is at a children's birthday party.

Blanka forces Mata to buy her the most expensive engagement ring. Marta, Paula and Ana find out that they are invited to Olga's dinner. Marta decides that she and Paula will come with their spouses and deliberately chooses a provocative housewarming gift for Olga. That evening, Tomo tells lies that could destroy the relationship between Olga and Simun. Olga 'accidentally' exposes Martina and Paula's lies about Mata's adultery, in front of a shocked Ana. Marta puts the blame on someone else, who decides to take revenge on her at any cost.
