Saturday’s episode of ‘The Voice India’ opened with a quick re-cap of last week and a reminder of the imminent eliminations. Only two out of four contestants from each of the teams, would be saved via public voting. In Saturday’s episode, team Shaan and team Mika would be performing therefore team Shaan went through the eliminations first. Akash and Ritu were saved from the eliminations and they have made it to the top 5 contestants of team Shaan! It was then time for team Mika’s eliminations. Tanvir and Passang were saved from the eliminations and they made it through to the top 5 contestants of team Mika. Sadly, Sana and Arpita were eliminated from team Shaan, while Harjot and Akshay were nominated from team Mika.

Before the live performances began, the special guests of the episode were music directors Sajid Wajid. Wajid had previously been seen on The Voice India mentoring team Shaan.

Post her glam roles in the films like Jism 2, Jackpot, Ragini Mms 2, sex siren Sunny Leone will now be seen as a corporate woman in the upcoming film Beiimaan Love. Directed by Rajeev Chaudhari, the film would also star Rajniesh Duggal. This is Rajniesh and Sunny's second film after Ek Paheli Leela.

On touching base with Rajeev, he stated "Sunny's character has a lot of shades in it right from a young ambitious working girl to a rich high profile business tycoon who bravely fights her way up to the top! It's a journey of experiences of today's working woman who has to manage her work, love and tackle tough challenges of life!

Since Sunny plays a working woman in the film, she even worked as an intern at a friend's firm in La recently (when she was on a break for 10 days) to get the nuances right.

With Tina & Lolo, T-Series goes a step further and has acquired yet another Sunny Leone film after Jism 2, Jackpot and recently released Ragini Mms 2, which was a big box-office success. Sunny Leone who has hit songs like 'Abhi Abhi' (Jism 2), 'Kabhi Jo Badal Barse' (Jackpot) and 'Baby Doll' &'Chaar Bottle Vodka' (Ragini Mms 2) in her kitty were all acquired by T-Series. T-Series has now acquired the music of Tina & Lolo which is an action-drama film directed by Devang Dholakia and will see both Sunny and Karishma do some gritty action sequences.

Mumbai, March 3: Actress Sunny Leone, who is set for the release of her third Bollywood film "Ragini Mms 2", says being an 'aspiring actress' she is not afraid of getting typecast, provided she gets a good scripts and directors.

Sunny made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with "Jism 2' followed by "Jackpot", that released last year.

"This is my third film and I don't know about typecast. But if I get typecast, what am I going to do? I can't change that. I just read the scripts and if I like the film, if I like the director, which is a huge deal for me, why should I not work in a film? And if that means being sexy, then its alright.

"If that means being crazy, scary, happy, so be it," the actress told reporters here.

Mumbai, Jan 17: Singer-rapper Honey Singh, who teamed up with adult star Sunny Leone for the song "Chaar bottle vodka", wants the actress to perform action stunts in a film a la Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz.

Sunny has so far had two Bollywood releases - "Jism 2" and "Jackpot".

"I really want to see her in an action film, proper mainstream action film where we could see her doing action stunts like Cameron Diaz," the rapper told reporters here Wednesday.

"Chaar bottle vodka" will feature in the film "Ragini Mms 2", a horror-thriller 3D film directed by Bhushan Patel and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Set to release March.

One of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful films of 2013 was Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Bmb). New Delhi, Dec 16: Neither veteran actress Dimple Kapadia's "What The Fish" nor adult films star-turned-actress Sunny Leone-starrer "Jackpot" managed to pull in audiences to theatres over the last weekend. Both films failed to meet expectations, say experts.

Puneet Sahay of Spice Cinemas says both the films didn't do good business.

"We thought the films will at least have an occupancy of 50 percent, but even during weekend, the percentage didn't go beyond 15. 'Jackpot' had 12 percent occupancy and 'What The Fish' got only 10 percent," Sahay told Ians.

New Delhi, Dec 15: "Jackpot" stars Sunny Leone and Sachiin Joshi sashayed down the ramp for designer Mayyur R. Girotra during Runway Rising's fifth edition here.

Mumbai, Dec 11: Indo-Canadian adult films star-turned-actress Sunny Leone is known for her bold and sensuous image, but she hopes that the audience appreciates her acting talent more in her forthcoming film "Jackpot".

"'Jackpot' is a very story-driven movie. It's a fast-paced film that moves extremely fast. It's not just about being sexy for me in this movie. Hopefully, they (audience) get to see a different side where my acting is appreciated a little more," the 33-year-old said here Tuesday.

"I hope that happens. I hope when people watch 'Jackpot', they see that I did work really hard. I spent days and nights making sure that I learn these lines frontwards and backwards, or at least try," she added.

Kolkata, Dec 10: Disappointed with the censor board's decision to axe the rap song "Eggjactly" from Sunny Leone-starrer "Jackpot", the film's actor-producer Sachiin J. Joshi Tuesday slammed the board for its "biased approach".

Sachiin maintained the song did not insult the country as the censor board had accused.

"The censor board felt its demeaning the country in some way...I dont think there's something like that. They thought it was not good and a bit vulgar," he told reporters while promoting the film here.

Defending the song, Sachiin argued that if songs like "Bhaag D.K. Bose" or "Choli Ke Peeche" were spared the censor's scissors then "Eggjactly" should have been given the same treatment.

Mumbai, Dec 10: Sunny Leone has been brushing up her Hindi skills, but her "Jackpot" co-star Sachiin Joshi also recently taught her a word or two in Marathi.

Sachiin and the Indo-Canadian adult film star shot for an episode of "Lai Bhari" on Marathi music channel 9X Jhakaas. During the shoot, Sachiin was questioned in Marathi and he had no problems answering in the language.

Mumbai, Nov 26: Filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, credited for movies like "Bombay Boys" and "Boom", says his forthcoming project "Jackpot" is his effort to get a taste of the commercial zone of cinemae.

"If I may say so, then yes, 'Jackpot' is a conscious effort to make a commercial film and to get into that zone. I have not made a film like this before. It is different from my previous films," Gustad told Ians.

Mumbai, Nov 25: The censor board has axed "Eggjactly" from being used in Sunny Leone starrer "Jackpot". However the Indo-Canadian adult film star says it is a family film and doesn't "require censorship".

The 32-year-old, who has shot some bold scenes for the movie, admits that it's censor board's job to see what's suitable for young adults to watch.

At the same time, she feels that "Jackpot" "is not an A-certificate movie. So, they have to be really careful on what the subject matter is."

"But I don't think there is anything in the movie that requires censorship. It's a very nice family movie that everyone can.

A risque number that took an anti-corruption stand while also being as double meaning as it gets, 'Eggjactly' was always sitting on a live bomb. However, even though producer-actor Sachiin Joshi felt that Censor Board would be able to see humour in the song, he was only hoping against hope as in the very first listening, the song was banned from being included in the film.

"The moment Censor Board members heard 'Eggjactly', they were shocked. Mumbai, Nov 21: Filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, who has donned the director's hat for "Jackpot" 10 years after his "Boom", believes the industry has changed and says had "Boom" released now, it would have been received well.

"Several people have told me and I genuinely feel that had 'Boom' released now, it would have been received will by the audience," Gustad told Ians.

"It's been 10 years since 'Boom' and the industry has drastically changed and audience has started accepting different kind of cinema. This is the best time for filmmakers," he added.

"Each one of my hot scenes is sexy and beautiful. Unfortunately, sometimes sexiness gets confused with how much skin you show," the 32-year-old said here Wednesday at the trailer launch of "Jackpot".

Sachiin told Ians: "The scene has been shot aesthetically, I don't think censor board will have any issue. It's been shot so well that it looks like a piece of art. I don't think there would be any problem with the censor board."
