After returning to Korea, Hu Yeong goes on a blind date set up by Joseph unexpectedly encountering Hong Ju. Meanwhile, Hye Ji organizes a welcome party for him, but Hong Ju arrives intoxicated, revealing unexpected information to Hu Yeong.

Hong Ju's boss assigns her to work with her ex Bang Jun Ho. Though hesitant, she agrees. Hye Ji discovers Hoo Young has feelings for Hong Ju. Meanwhile, Hong Ju gets into a car accident.
Hu Yeong confesses his love to Hong Ju, but she feigns ignorance. Discharged from hospital, Hu Yeong cares for Hong Ju at his home. Jun Ho misunderstands their living situation.
Hong Ju reluctantly goes on a fishing trip with friends, Hye Ji clarifies she's not dating Kyung Taek. Hong Ju is assigned to work with Jun Ho for a month.
Hu Yeong quits his job to pursue Hong Ju. Hye Ji inadvertently meets Gyeong Taek's mother while visiting him. Hong Ju's father warns Jun Ho against dating his daughter.
Hu Yeong's mother invites Hong Ju to accompany them to the US. Though Hong Ju declines Hu Yeong's request initially, she surprises him at the airport as he departs.
