It is very engaging series which is entertaining as well as eye opener !!
All characters have given justice to their part ! The best part which i think is they have not over complexed the plot and kept it straight and focused ! The pace and screenplay is engaging and kept viewers engaged !! Makers have make sure not to include unnecessary elements just to increase length
Coming to dialogues they are well written and go with the character
Overall good material for a binge watch !! Go for it without thought !!
Ritesh Deshmukh acting is fabulous especially his tone representing his roots from UP . Have really liked his series Doctor look !!

Pill Season 1 is a Hindi-language thriller on JioCinema, created and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The show exposes the corrupt nexus of India's pharmaceutical industry.
It stars Riteish Deshmukh as Dr. Prakash Chauhan, a deputy medicines controller, and Pawan Malhotra as the ruthless CEO Brahma Gill of Forever Cure Pharma. The eight-episode series follows Prakash's crusade against unethical drug proliferation after uncovering trial deaths.
The story is rooted in real-world issues like the 2013 Ranbaxy scandal, and unfolds with a whistleblower's social media post which drives Prakash to confront a pharma-politician-doctor nexus.
Pacing is brisk in episodes 1-4 but slows in 5-6, with a rushed finale, unlike Paatal Lok's relentless intensity or The Night Of's taut arcs. Themes of corporate greed and justice resonate but lack Sacred Games's layered subtext. Deshmukh's nuanced portrayal, supported by Malhotra's menacing Gill, outshines Money Heist's ensemble but falls short of Succession's character depth. Production values are solid, with gritty Patiala visuals, though editing and music are functional, not iconic like The Valhalla Murders' chilling score.
Pill engages with its topical premise, sparking introspection about healthcare trust, but its emotional stakes are modest compared to Your Honor's family drama. For Indian audiences, it's grittier than Panchayat but less polished than Heeramandi. Globally, it shares The Undoing's investigative drive but lacks Money Heist's high stakes.
A compelling one-time watch, Pill is recommended for thriller fans and those interested in social issues.

This series is a must watch for everyone, which tells you how corruption is engrossed in every part of the system. Also, this has to be Reteish Deshmukh's best performance onscreen. He was just just amazing to watch, a complete delight. Also the supporting casts were really good and added the right mix to the entire series.
For people trying to find flaw in the series, they may be able to do so, however, I think it was truly a genuine attemp to bring awareness about the daibolical nature of the pharma industry.
A lot of times, viewers will find themselves helpless thought the series, showing the plight of common man.
Again a must watch !!

Awesome storyline and acting by all the cast! Really enjoyed the serious acting by Riteish Deshmukh. He should definitely try his hands at this genre more! We already know what an awesome actor he is when it comes to comedy ! Keep it up "Bhava" ! Loved you. Also best thing about the series was there was nothing over the top or too much heroic or larger than life heroism shown. Just a quiet and great battle of a common and honest sarkari babu against the corrupt GIANT company and his own corrupt colleagues who constantly try to stop him Each character had so much "character" in them - for example wife of Riteish, Noor khan, Dr Basu , Ashish Khanna - All character shine ! No dull moments hence a must watch !!
One word, Excellent ! In every department.
Story is what we expect in Ronnie's work and he exactly delivered this beautifully and narrated in excellent way.
Many thanks for this Masterpiece Ronnie and this is what we always expect from you.. You have always raised the bar higher. Keep going man.
Lots of love to all the team member who were part of this web series.
Cast: cautiously choosen as per their roles and requirements and they did exactly what required.
Ritesh, hats off Man, you are such a gem, thanks for this and keep going. Furthermore, other co actors were fantabulous.
Nothing less than 10 star, please ensure the 2nd part as this industry needs more eye openers and whistle blowers. Ronnie you must have heard about the discrepancy in lab tests and people are dying due to wrong reports. (Practices like basin tests is very common) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
